"We had a great experience while staying here. We had booked the two cottages for my mum's surprise birthday and I have a large family. This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. It had beautiful views and a hiking tail right on the doorstep for anyone interested in a lovely walk. It wasn't far to get to local shops/bars/pubs. I would stay here again"

"The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

"Just what we needed to visit our daughter at Huddersfield Uni. We were looking for something on the lovely countryside around Holmfirth and this ticked all the boxes. Easy check in, plenty of options on just eat and a beautiful, characterful terrace with enclosed yard, perfect for our dog."

"When searching for a property near to Bakewell my priority was a property all on one level due to disabilities as well as taking dogs. This was perfect. A stunning rural location close to amenities as well as travelling distance to surrounding areas, Bakewell, Castleton etc. The cottage was beautifully warm and cosy with comfortable beds, 1 double and 2 bunk beds and well equiped kitchen etc. The location was stunning, mill stream running in front of the cottage, a pond with a meadow to watch...

"Lovely small studio in a rustic Peak District village, with convenient shops & pub. Instruction from owners were very comprehensive & easy to follow. Liked it so much will be returning again next year. Great location for going walking."

"A large and immaculate house. Perfect for large family group of various ages. Kitchen room was lovely and great size bedrooms. We made use of the hot tub a number of times. The games room was very disappointing though. The local area has a number of attractions and perfect for few days away."
