Specifically requested quiet clean room. Specifically requested not to be near elevator. Room was right next to elevator. Hotel not full, other rooms old dirty. Manager refused to cancel reservation. A Grand Stay at a Grand Hotel
I’m a 77 year old widower who hosted 3 of my adult children and 1 daughter-in-law at the Wyndham Grand near Naiharn Beach for 3 nights. From the moment we arrived until climbing into our departure van to HKT, the staff (especially “Q”) took care of our every need. Our rooms … local transportation … restaurant recommendations … long tail boat rentals to go island hopping & snorkeling … even sessions in their lovely pools while sharing a cocktail … the Wyndham Grand exceeded our expectations! Well done.

Property is in a quiet location. Room and facilities were good WIFI worked well. Hotel restaurant was ok- perhaps should focus more on local food than western meals. Most western type meals we tried were mediocre at best. Buffet breakfast was good.
