"Lovely property, renovated (but not "restored") to high standard but modern electricals (great wifi, TV) and kitchen/baths. Spacious home, multiple eating areas, quiet street, and with a terrific host. Maldon is a charming small town and well-located to see the goldfields area. Only downside is there are only a couple of places in the town proper to dine out (Castlemaine is close). But a great place with all creature comforts."

"We absolutely loved staying here! Came up to Bendigo from Melbourne for a calisthenics competition at Ulumbarra theatre, 2 min walk! Owners thought of everything we possibly needed. Fabulous bath with bath salt. Will book for many years to come! "

"On arrival after a 7 hour drive we opened the door of this quaint hideaway and were frozen by the chill factor. The split reverse cycle heater was of little help in warming the space and the wood fire was wood free. After a trip into Castlemaine we returned with 15kg of wood, fire starters and kindling at a cost of $40. Once we started the fire our spirits lifted and our appreciation of the property was enhanced. Had we arrived to find an efficient wall heater and the wood heater set to light...
