Really nice spot in nature, clean and tidy house. David was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions. One thing would be another rental nearby so not completely secluded but we barely saw them so not a real issue at all!
Our host is a clear, timely communicator who was accommodating to our needs, which made the experience easy. This was a great base for our whanau to enjoy the mountains around us.
Well set up cosy lodge with everything you need. Heaps of space and outdoor tables etc. The owner was really approachable easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.
The property is great and had everything we needed and more… except perhaps a roll of paper towel, so that’s not a complaint! The owner communicated and answered questions well. The kids enjoyed the yard, the walk down to the river was very nice. It was a very comfortable stay. I’d stay there again without any hesitation.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights here. Ideal property for a family getaway. Plenty of room for my wife and I, our 3 daughters, their partners and our 2 grandchildren. The lodge has everything you need with so much room for everybody to stretch out. David, the host, was great to deal with and made it clear he was happy to be contacted, if required, at any time. Even offered a late checkout if we wanted. A great break that we all enjoyed!

This was our first ‘extended’ family trip. Eight of us in total, 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 2, 6, 9, 15). The house and outside area was fantastic and fit for purpose. There was plenty of room so we didn’t feel on top of each other. Fantastically stocked kitchen, has every utensil and pot you’d need. Enough beds/bedrooms and bathrooms. Lovely big lounge area and the outside was a dream! Enjoyed the walk to the stream and the swing seat and see-saw kept the younger kids entertained. Lovely and close to the mountain as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend our weekend. Thanks David.
A great place to stay and just escape, surrounded by native bush, so peaceful. Plenty of space, great to be able to relax on the deck or breakfast with nature.
Highly recommended, we're already planning another visit. Thanks David.
