The woman managing the property was just great, the room was in excellent condition, the price was very reasonable, and it was right next to the tram which gets you downtown quickly. "We weren't there long enough to take advantage of some of the amenity 'extras' -- e.g., hot tub. But the room was fine, the view excellent, and the breakfast lovely. Our hostess was very gracious. Unfortunately, we arrived after dark, and the lack of lighting on the address made it a bit difficult to find the place. Lesson: Don't arrive after dark! "

"Wonderful, quiet location in a charming neighborhood. 30 minutes by tram to the Altstadt. Short walk to a lovely beer garden and ferry to the Pillnitzer Castle. We also loved cycling along the Elbe. For some reason, the access code was sent through Expedia instead of Hotels.com, so you might need to call the hostess before arrival to meet you. She was very gracious and the breakfast was a delight. A wonderful place to experience Dresden in a peaceful, clean, and comfortable environment!"

"Das Hotel ist am Rande der Altstadt gelegen. Fußläufig ist daher in Pirna alles gut erreichbar. Ein Tiefgaragenplatz kann separat gebucht werden. Wir würden dies empfehlen. Das Frühstück war gut. Toll gefallen hat uns, dass es während des Aufenthalts eine kostenlose Karte für den ÖPNV mit dazu gab. Daher haben wir das Auto stehen gelassen und sind mit Bus und Bahn zum Wandern gefahren. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder in die Pension Donatus."

Einziges Manko war der etwas modrige Geruch im Zimmer - vielleicht könnte ein Luftentfeuchter für Abhilfe sorgen. Guter Service und somit für Leute, deren Nase nicht überempfindlich ist, empfehlenswert."

"Wir sind planmäßig angereist und mussten feststellen, dass das Objekt bereits vermietet ist. Der Vermieter war nicht erreichbar. Seine Eltern bedauerten das sehr, konnten uns aber nicht weiter helfen. Die Buchung wäre nicht eingegangen. Wir hatten aber die Bestätigung über Fe-Wo direkt bekommen und das Quartier bereits bezahlt. Es wurde uns keine Alternative Unterbringung angeboten oder organisiert.
