"We were very impressed with the very friendly and welcoming staff, the beautiful surroundings and the food. We arrived a little bit early, with our toddler. They managed to accommodate us and while we waited we were at the strange time just after breakfast bur before lunch. One of the staff members went off the kitchen and managed to get some pastries for us which was really appreciated. The team seemed genuinely interested and friendly and we felt very at home. The meal in Kathleen’s kitchen was lovely, again great service and food prepared with passion and care. The cocktails at the bar were unique and very good. The property is extensive, very well kept and really interesting with loads to explore. We’ve stayed in a few 5 star hotels at home and abroad, and this is definitely right up there. It’s a real gem. I’m looking forward to our next visit!"

"Very comfortable room with lots of nice extras, like chocolates, biscuits, bottled water, full coffee machine and tea selection. Spacious room. Very nice dinner. Leisure centre open to the public so quite busy but probably the time I went. Situated beside a filling station with an M&S mini shop, Burger King and some other eateries which was great to nip in and grab a quick lunch. Friendly check in and quiet night’s sleep. "

"We love this hotel and we stay there at least once a year. The staff are very friendly and the food and accommodation is first rate. We also like the spa and gym. The only thing that did not seem to be happen was the point addition for 'The Club' scheme which staff did not seem to be aware of. One of them told me that the scheme was ending this month although I do not rememeber being notified of this. "
