"Nice place, had a good time, one drawback is it is right on rt 28 so there is the traffic noise at night when having a fire. We were told to put the linens and towels in separate bags after our stay but there were no big bags, only the small kitchen garbage ones. Also no outside garbage unit so we had to keep the tied up garbage bags in the house and they started to smell. "It is an older property which has been updated with the necessaries, including kitchen and bath. We chose it for the location but mainly, because we were able to bring our two dogs. There were six of us and although the cottage was cozy, we were perhaps a bit cramped. That would not have been an issue but a rainy week forced us inside more than we would have liked. The location is beautiful - very close to First Lake and right off of Hollywood Road. The side road was excellent for dog walking...

"Relaxing stay at the cabin."

"This cabin, checked every box that was needed for a perfect peaceful, relaxing, unwinding, recharging weekend get away for my wife and I. A must hike owls head mountain. Absolutely amazing. So much to do both directions just down the road from this location. The cabin was extremely clean. Felt just like home. The hot tub was fabulous on a cold evening. Will definitely look into for future weekends. "

"Check in was great with Betsy. Upon arrival at our cabin, we noticed the place was not clean. Showers, tubs, floors were not clean. I called Betsy and sent her pictures. She wasn’t able to send someone out till the next day. The place needed to be cleaned before we could move in, shower and enjoy our stay. I spent the evening cleaning on my vacation.
