Reserved a 2bdrm suite in october..received a standard 2 bed pull out couch. No discount or anything. The last time that happened i got an extra room when one was available at no charge This time it was horrible.. Hopefully... if i decide to go back its better

The heat was an issue. The heat was in the bedroom. The living room area was cold and the bedroom was hot. We had to turn the temp to about 63 to be comfortable while sleeping. The room was good otherwise.

Pictures did make it seem nicer than it was. Overall okay place to stay for the price. Few maintenance things needed done in the room such as tile in the bathroom some baseboards coming undone. Closet doorknobs were broken. Black fingerprints on white doors and walls. Couch had (I assume) per air on it. Hot tub was down during our stay.

I was very pleased to learn of the parking and transportation policies for my flight. The staff was quite efficient in meeting my needs. Their breakfast had good choices, so everyone should find something for everyone’s palate.

When we entered our hotel the first thing we noticed was old scratched lottery tickets under the end table in the living room, meaning cleaning wasn’t well done. Then the dishwasher still had filthy dishes in it, and when we pulled the sofa bed out the first night there was dirty plastic cups under it. There was a cockroach in the bathroom next to the bathtub as well. Next issue was finding drunk people past out sleeping in the stairwells having to be removed by law enforcement. This location is within a close proximity to a housing project with many transient people who find their way into the warmth of the hotel. There was fighting down the hall in a room, we complained of constant loud stomping all throughout the night, and then a large dog who was in the room next to us that barked and howled all night. This was NOT worth what we paid and will never stay there again!

This was my third time there. I use to stay at a different hotel in rapid but it was fully booked as was most in the area near the airport. The Grand had an opening. That was my first visit. Now when I have to fly out early or come in late, we stay at the Grand. We love that there is a kitchen, a couch. We live 150 miles away. We come to town to shop. If it gets to late or the weather is bad, we stay in town. The staff has been great.

Our room upon first entering looked very nice. However, the kitchen, including the floors and counter tops, were dirty and sticky. The entry way light was flickering off and on and a bathroom light was burned out. These items were reported to the front desk but nothing was repaired. Enjoyed our stay but not sure we will stay again, especially with the dirty sticky kitchen.
