"The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely. There wasnt really anything in the village but the nearest town was only 10 or so minutes away. There was a supermarket and petrol station and a market. "We can't thank Sarah and Blake enough for a fantastic week at their Gite in Melle. They couldn't do enough to make our stay wonderful, from gifting us some English teabags, heating up our private hot tub, recommending some local food places that delivered, and allowing the kids a quick dip in the pool when we arrived past pool hours! The Gite was clean and spacious and the area peaceful and quiet. Local towns, restaurants and supermarkets were only a short drive away and even the nearest beach...

"After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. Peter and Laura are happy to help in any way they can. Great walking and cycling from the gite, lovely villages within 20 minutes drive. Large Super U with fuel station three minutes drive away.
