"This is a lovely place to stay. Everything you need is there. Very comfortable. There is a good heater in the main room but not one in the bathroom. It could really use one in there. But then, I'm from the tropics and feel the cold more than most. "

"This property had just about everything we needed for a short stay and it was comfortable and quiet, despite the close proximity of neighbours. The only negative was the lack of off street parking for our car as on street parking (immediately outside the house) was not always guaranteed. This was a minor inconvenience and did not detract significantly from our stay and it would obviously not be an issue for those who are not travelling with a car. Thanks for having us!"

"My partner and I stayed for 8 night's at this apartment. We were looking for something with additional sleeping quarters, which we got, as we are visiting from Canada for a month, to see his family here. We do have family here with mobility issues, so found that this didn't work for them after all. It is 22 steps up to the unit, which I cannot find for the life of me in the listing description. So it ended up just being the two of us. We did appreciate however, the kitchen as we cooked...

"This was a good stayz with just what we needed. We were out most of the day, but enjoying coming back to a good bed and a good shower."

"Papa Joe is a wonderful host. He greeted us personally, even though our flight was delayed and got in late. The basement suite he provided was private, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with bread, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, tea, coffee and more, and there was a pretty outdoor seating area just off the bedroom to enjoy breakfast. He invited us to dinner and we had a lovely chat. He truly treats guests like family. 10/10, would stay here again! "

"Wonderful position with a view over the Derwent river. Squeezy parking and wouldnt cope with a large vehicle or a van. The road in would be difficult with a van and no area to turn around. No problems if youre just travelling in a car."
