"This place was a bit rundown but for the price, we were not disappointed. It’s an upstairs apartment with a pretty rickety railing. It was clean except for the carpet. The double size bed was like an old fashioned featherbed, soft which I liked. Scott, the owner, was nice and texted right back when we needed something. It was a great location for our time at the NCFolkFest and other downtown wanderings. (Loved Greensboro’s Historical Museum, a must go see!)"

We contacted him a few times, and responses were very uninformative or not at all we went to the property and immediately were harassed in the parking lot by possible residence. we entered the building, which did not smell good at all, we went into the apartment, and just was not Impressed. it was very old. we wound up turning around and just leaving because we just did not feel safe. "My son and his children live in Asheboro. The apartment is a flexible and functional home base for us. It keeps the kids happy with fun activity, is pet friendly and low key. It has clean facilities and a lot of functional tools for entertaining a family. If I ran the site, I would use thicker bath towels and be sure that there was a good scrubber for pans. But at the value point for us- it is great."

"This is a really unique and fun place to stay. Less than 2 miles from HPU and easy parking right out front. Plenty of room to spread out and relax with your group. We could easily fit as many as 8 and our little pup was welcome. If you like to cook the kitchen is very large and well equipped. Our host, Will, was very easy to reach, very responsive and kind. We will be back!"
