Picture’s don’t do this lovely Casita justice. It is a lovely new construction home with unbelievable sunrises and sunsets. Owner is very prompt and provides everything needed for a complete stay. Plan to come back soon
The property was built with love. The host was the best host ever. Always there if we needed anything, very friendly. The views were serene out each window, best rainbows we have ever seen. Very clean and cozy. Highly recommend.
Exactly as described! Great views, clean, and super host. Loved the wrap around covered porch. We stayed there for about six weeks and would definitely recommend this house to anyone!
The views are spectacular of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. A lovely view outside every window! The property was clean and a beautiful example of a traditional adobe casita. The host is very gracious and responsive. We would definately recommend staying here.
Nice guest house outside of Taos. Quick access to Taos using back roads. Beds were full size and a bit too small for teen age boys but the price was right!
Perfect place for our short little stay - although would be awesome for a long stay too!!! Peaceful & beautiful. Having lived in Taos before - I was impressed with the high quality materials used in the building of this casita. You can’t go wrong with this rental - Better than the photos.
Very clean and close enough to Taos and the ski valley but far enough out to be serene. Host was very helpful and the house is nicely appointed. Bring games!
We stayed in this beautiful casita for a long weekend but wish we could have stayed longer! This newly constructed adobe home made for a very comfortable and quiet getaway. Minutes away from downtown and other attractions. Our host was very helpful and made us feel right at home. We will definitely stay here again for our next Taos adventure.
True to photos and listing, this place and it’s owners delivered. Beautiful view, comfortable and clean. Kitchen could use a few more supplies but as they are new to STRs, I’m sure that will increase over time.
My family of four had a wonderful visit at this Pueblo home built by its owner. The radiant floor heating keeps the Pueblo at a very pleasant temperature. The Pueblo was cozy and clean with mountain views. The home is very private with the feeling of openness and solitude around you. Great host and highly recommended for your next visit to Taos.
The house was wonderful! Actually nicer than the pictures! Very clean! James was so very nice and answered every time we contacted him! The views are gorgeous! I believe this is the nicest home we have stayed in for vacation!
Very clean, and well equipped. I had two 13 year old twins with us, and the internet was fast enough for both of them. Very quiet and private but close enough to Taos to make going to dinner very easy. We went whitewater rafting and again, easy to access. Well worth the money.
Nice spot, great views, new property, attentive owner. Only a couple of small inconveniences we remedied with the purchase of a cheese grater and a cork screw(we left them for the next guests)
This is a beautiful new small house minimally but tastefully furnished in Ranchos de Taos, about a 15 minute drive from the historic downtown. There are outstanding, sweeping views from the wrap-around porch. The beds and living room furniture are comfortable and the kitchen and two bathrooms are adequate. We stayed for the entire month of August and were not disappointed. Highly recommended.
We use vacation rentals often, and I can say that this is one of the top places to note. It is a new, clean, lovely New Mexican style home with everything one needs, yet without clutter, which we appreciate. What makes it stand out for us is the gorgeous views, heavenly sagebrush smell, quiet, and privacy. All of this is nearby busy bustling Taos, but also away from busy bustling Taos. The owner, James, was easy to communicate with by text and lives on the acreage. He built the home himself and it is very solid and professionally finished. We stayed 3 nights in late August, and it would also be lovely with snow on the sagebrush in winter. We were very pleased!
This property is incredible. Brand new, quiet, great views, everything works, great host. I would give it 10 stars but vrbo just goes to 5 stars.
My wife and I needed a quiet place with great views. There are mountains on 3 sides and a huge sagebrush valley in front. We enjoyed our time hanging out watching birds, rabbits and other wildlife.
Plus it's close to town and we enjoyed exploring Taos and relaxing back at the casita.
James is a very helpful host as well and we are grateful for sharing his place with us. We will be back!
