"We had a wonderful week here at Ian and Lesley's place. It is very secluded and peaceful, yet close to lots of interesting towns, villages and sites. The pool is excellent and the whole place with its lovely garden is a really relaxing environment. Ian and Lesley were always on hand for any tips/help, but also very respectful of their guests' space. All in all, this is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful Lot region. We would love to come back!"

"We were greeted very warmly by Philippe and his wife, and they offered us coffee when we arrived. We were then shown around the accommodation and given details of the surrounding area and attractions. The accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was perfect for our break and in a very quiet area, but easy to find. Nothing was too much trouble for Philippe during our stay which we enjoyed immensely. We hope to return next year, and would definitely stay here again. "

"After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. "

"Gite propre, mais odeur de renfermé qui persiste dès que les portes et fenêtres sont fermées. Bon confort literie sauf le lit gigogne dont le bruit des lattes est insupportable pour le lit du bas. On a du dû déménager ma fille dans le clic clac du salon. Cuisine équipée sauf couteaux pour cuisiner, eau très calcaire donc dépôts dans la bouillir et traves de blanc sur la vaisselle qui sort du lave vaisselle. Conseil : faites votre vaisselle à la main. "We loved the hotel! We had a separate bedroom for our daughter and plenty of room to spread out. As mentioned by others the parking garage available for a daily price is a few blocks away but overall not a huge inconvenience. We would definitely stay there again if in that area. "

"Overall experience of the property: - Owners friendly, with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival - Fantastic pool and a lovely garden - Superb location to visit all of the key areas / sights within the Dordogne Few points to note: - The stairs in the property are very steep, therefore, not suitable for young children or the elderly - The wifi didn't work very well and was intermittent - not a deal breaker but useful to have - Very hot upstairs as no fans or a/c - again not a deal breaker...
