We came to Durham to tour some colleges and this house was perfect! Very close to Duke and lots of great restaurants! The house was nice and had all the amenities we could need. Excellent stay!
The house was comfortable, very clean, with everything in working order. I appreciated the special touches for our dogs - a bed, blanket, and water and food dishes. We were only one block from our family who lives in Durham, and it was a great location for dog walking.
Wonderful location and cute house. Perfect for our short stay to visit Duke and UNC. Great communication and seamless check in/check out.

Great little house!
We stayed for 4 nights while college touring NC with our daughter. Quiet location and cozy house - the owner is friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
We loved staying here over Easter Weekend. The house is perfect for a small group, including two not-so-small dogs. The neighborhood is friendly with a park just down the street. Easy access to just about anywhere you need to be in Durham and beyond.
We traveled to the area as our daughter was having surgery at Duke Hospital. Andrea, our host was extremely accommodating to our needs. Our trip was longer than anticipated and Andrea was there to help us out each time. We could not be happier with this location and the great hospitality Andrea provided. This place will be our #1 with our next visit!
We were 5 adults that really enjoyed the space.
3 Bedrooms and 1 1/2 bath was perfect for us.
Close to downtown.
Great communication.

Charming neighborhood and location
We were in town for a wedding at the Duke Chapel and the location of this home couldn't have been better. So convenient to many restaurants and shops. We had 4 adults and 2 infants and had plenty of space. Comfortable beds and linens, and very clean. Basic cable channels and an improved coffee machine would have been appreciated. Would rent again!

Lovely home for our weekend
Perfect home for the weekend. You must take a walk through Forrest Hills, it’s beautiful with so many birds, squirrels, and bunnies! Everything in the home was clean, shower water pressure was amazing!! I would definitely stay here again. My only suggestion is softer light bulbs to allow for more comfortable lighting at night. Neighborhood is quiet, close to everything.

Well run rental, with some issues
The house presents well with upgrades such as the gravel rear parking area, exterior paint, LVF flooring, and hand picked decor. The bedrooms are big, with comfortable beds. However, walking in the door you are hit with an unpleasant odor of mold/mildew covered with a heavy floral air freshener scent. The air freshener is so strong that it gives you a headache and permeates all your belongings. It has been two weeks since our stay and I still have clothing that I cannot get the smell out of. It’s in the air and seems to be sprayed on the bed linens as well.
Overall, it’s a nice place in what I would call a transitional neighborhood that seems a little dicey in parts. The living room was uncomfortable, with a couch past it’s useful life and a that TV needs to be about 20 inches larger, but it was decent enough for a short stay. The bedrooms are the best place in the house and very comfortable if it weren’t for the air freshener.
Such a cozy home! It was well stocked with everything we needed for a short family getaway (as well as the extras for my dog that made this place special). We are looking forward to coming back!
Nice home, we work out of town and spend a lot of time at the houses we stay at when we’re not at work so the small tv in the living room and not having a tv in every room was a bummer but overall this was a pleasant stay. We also had to go buy a pot so we could make some spaghetti, the kitchen was mostly stocked with pots and pans but nothing to boil a large amount of water for something to feed five hungry guys.
We had a great stay, visiting for the weekend from Texas for my niece’s wedding. The house is clean and cute, plenty of room for us 2 adults and 3 teens, and beautiful, quiet neighborhood!
Perfect location close to downtown and Duke with plenty of space for our group of 4! Great communication with host- easy check in, safe lovely neighborhood to walk around in. Enjoyed our stay!
The property was just as pictured in the listing, as is the description. I don't remember if it was in the listing, but the single beds in one of the bedrooms is a trundle bed. Location is indeed a quite little neighborhood, not far from things to do. I recommend going to the Drake University gardens that isn't too far from there.
The full bath could do with a little bit of repair due to damage caused by water to some spots and flaking ceiling paint. There are probably people who aren't very careful or pay attention when it's not their home. Other than that it is a lovely house at a great price. So much more room than a hotel room.
Andrea's property was the perfect place for our family's quick week-end trip to Durham. The location is great, and there is easy to access to downtown Durham, a neighborhood grocery store, etc. The house itself was clean and well-equipped. We would stay there again without hesitation.
Clean property near coffee shops, walking trails, grocery stores and yet the community was quiet. The house was cute with washer/dryer easily accessible. If I were moving to Durham this is the community I would like to live.
We were a group of students who all had fieldwork assignments out of town. This was the perfect house for us to stay in for the time. There was a Keurig and coffee pot, the fridge had plenty of room for us to store food, overall we had a really great time! Do not park on the street, especially if you drive a Honda or a Prius; my catalytic converter was stolen so I had to miss a day of fieldwork in addition to paying quite a bit of money to have the part replaced.
We visited the area because of a new grandchild being born.
The host was so kind to give us an early check in, and was so thoughtful throughout the entire stay and beyond! The house was clean and just what we needed that weekend !
Look no further for a great place to stay !
