The check-in and property were excellent and just as described. The home was beautiful inside and very comfortable. Jesse was very responsive to questions, as well. I highly recommend!
We absolutely loved staying at this property. It is beautifully renovated and decorated, really clean, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The fenced yard made it easy to let our dogs play. We plan on staying here again on our next trip to Durham if it's available. The location is also very convenient, in a friendly and quiet neighborhood. The internet service is excellent.
The unit is very cute and well equipped. It’s conveniently located not far from Duke and Durham’s downtown area. We enjoyed delicious bagels at Isaac’s and had a great meal at Grub Durham - both just a few blocks from the unit. Overall the area is quiet with the only real exception we experienced being one night a neighbor had a loud party until 2:00 a.m.
We (propel & dogs) enjoyed our stay at this well appointed & equipped house. The home was just as advertised/promised from the listing & pictures. The neighborhood was quiet/safe. The host provides a house ‘manual’ with an extensive list of local interests, restaurants, shopping, etc that was top tier! The Eno River State Park, less than 15 minutes away, was a great place to hike with the dogs. If we ever find ourselves back in Durham we would definitely book this house again if it’s available!
We stayed here due to the location's proximity to NCCU.
The property was still having ongoing exterior work for refurnishing but the owner paused the work during our stay which was helpful. Inside the house, everything was very well arranged.
Loved the kitchen with loads of cutlery and appliances as well as the separate office room for you to work. The property had a fenced in backyard which was good for our pet - one drawback though was that the backyard entrance is not through the house so you couldn't monitor on your pet from inside the house effectively.
Host was very responsive and frequently checked in over sms on our stay. Very clean house and checkin and checkout process was very smooth.
Overall a good experience !
Immaculate, well organized, and comfortable three bedroom within walking distance to everything.
There is plenty of room in this pristine home for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked for you to cook in. There is a house alarm so you always feel safe. There is a driveway so you don't have to worry about parking your car on the street. The air conditioning works great. The Duke college campus is within walking distance or a short drive away. Pets are welcome and the yard is all fenced in. The cost of renting this home is far more economical than renting multiple hotel rooms for your family. The home owners will promptly reply to your messages. There is a well written book about the rental that includes maps, restaurants, grocery stores and medical facilities.
Excellent choice for our Granddaughter's first family weekend. Parents and Grandparents of a Duke Freshman and this is a perfect stay. Clean, neat 2 bedroom, fully stocked home just 5 minutes to Freshman East dorms. Couldn't have picked a better location.
Stay was great. Home was as depicted and location is close to grocery, Duke University, local balery. Neighbor was also very friendly. Host was accomodating to a late checkout and home was nicely furnished with restock items.
Stayed for 3 nights mid-week, family of four (two adults, 3yo, 15mo). Property was beautiful, though one room was a bit small (or could just be oversized furniture making it feel that way). Lights were very bright, and nicely labeled. New, efficient washer and dryer. Highchairs and pack and plays were in a closet- a nice bonus for us. Great location.
The only negatives were the slightly short driveway (my subcompact suv fit fine- a larger vehicle may not have) and the bathroom door did not latch correctly.
