"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. The room had a small portable fan which we turned on at night: We would have preferred to leave the patio doors open, to experience the ocean breeze but due to mosquitos we had to keep the doors closed. The room was unpleasantly warm. That said: we were in Blokhus during the warmest week of the year, the weather and the beach was amazing ☀️ "

"Marked the check box for double bed. Got 2 singles pulled together. 3. Floor. No elevator. But clean and tidy. "

"Overall what you would expect in a Danish Kro, but two things could be better: only one towel in a two-bed room, and a difficult tv with no instructions available. "

"Dinner and breakfast was excellent. Elevator not function was optimal in combination with the available steel stairs. It was very noisy during the night. Normally in the summer floor heating should be shut off. "

"100% acceptable for the money. Reasonably clean, ok breakfast, comfortable beds. Excellent for an overnight stay."

"Nice little room with coded doors so no office was necessary. Arriving late would never be an issue. Decent size bathroom and shower. Finding the hotel (behind the building) took a minute as the gps brings you out front where there is no access. Not handicapped accessible as there is a metal staircase to traverse. Would def stay again."
