"“Paradise Cottage” was such a great stay for us in Hinton as we checked off another national park! It was spotlessly clean, easy to access, and so lovely to have basic/starter supplies made available on arrival (plus the lovely welcome basket!). We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the river and our daughter loved the geese!! The bedrooms were both very spacious and the beds comfortable; we slept so well! "We enjoyed this small cabin, it was perfect for 2 or 4 people. I enjoyed sitting on the porch and reading. Pam couldn't have been any nicer. We wanted to check out the lake, but didn't realize that they drain it after Labor Day. So we just spent a relaxing couple of days there. If you go, check out Alfredo's restaurant. Their subs and pizza are delicious."

"We enjoyed our stay. The house was about a half-hour drive from the main visitor center in New River Gorge National Park. Two very nice state parks were also within a relatively short driving distance. We used the full-size kitchen for breakfast and dinner. It was nice having a dishwasher.
