"We stayed at Genevieve’s house for a ski vacation at Mont Orford - it really is only 5 minutes from the hill. We had all facilities that we needed while there. This is a quaint, quirky century old home…there were sitting areas outside of each bedroom on top of the spacious living room, dining room and breakfast eating area. Genevieve was available for any questions or concerns without delay and was most accommodating. As stated by others the staircases are steep but there are now grippy pads...

"The house is nice and location excellent . Arrival was a horror show as the host had forgotten that we were arriving. This unfortunately coincided with the previous guests being unbelievably messy. They seemed to have had an illness as there were bloody tissues everywhere. The host was very apologetic - they promptly cleaned the house and reimbursed our hotel bill right away (it was not possible to stay there the first night). Once that was sorted, our stay was lovely. I feel sorry for hosts...

"This is our 2nd time this year and it did not disappoint us. It is clean, close to facilities and with a garage. Which fantastic before we were there during a snow storm. So we did not have to plow or shovel. It is also pet friendly and doggy recognized the place. So less stress on her. We will go back for sure. We highly recommend this place"

"Our little cabin had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Host Frank is very warm and welcoming and gave us a helpful overview of his beautiful property. We enjoyed hiking and swimming and access to the region. The lake is lovely! Next time we’ll hope for better weather to enjoy it more. Just two things in our cabin that could be fixed: the bedroom has a strong mildew odour from damp; it would be great if the laundry line was on the sunny side of the cabin, as it is not possible to dry anything...

"Overall great! Lots of space, clean, and beds were fairly comfortable. Good value for money. Other reviewers have mentioned the water which was quite smelly. Luckily we brought along a big jug of water. The toaster was also not working quite right and the coffee maker was pod style (would have been to have a regular coffee maker as well). Blankets were a bit thin.Host was excellent at resolving one small issue quickly via text. Location was pretty good for skiing at Bromont (about a 20min...

"What a beautiful home and a beautiful property!!! The photos don’t even do it justice. The kids and adults both had the best time. The hot tub also was a nice touch, perfect after a long ski day. We hope to come back one day!"

"We had terrible weather with storms outside, but it made it all the better to be in this great space with a fireplace lots of room, lots of options and everything you could possibly need. There were a few athletes who very much appreciated the hot tub after a few long workouts. The scenery around is fantastic. Two TVs were there as an option, but as it turned out, we didn’t use them. "We had a lovely time in this super clean and cozy home. The beds were very comfortable and the place was warm even in the midst of a windy snow storm! We had everything we needed for 4 adults and two teenagers. Lots of ski mountains to choose from nearby and the little town nearby is adorable. The hot tub was a big hit too. We would definitely return. "
