Come be our guest at Black Rock Lodge in beautiful Rabun Gap, GA. Newly furnished and ready to be your next relaxing vacation destination. 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom with large sleeping loft. Wrap around porch with rocking chairs and built in benches where you can take in the sounds and sight of the state park. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Downstairs master with king size bed and attached bathroom. Upstairs is the second bedroom with queen bed and sleeping loft with 2 twin size beds and second bathroom. Minutes from Black Rock Mountain State Park with fishing, hiking and camping. Several beautiful lakes in the area offer swimming and beach access. Minutes from Downtown Clayton, GA with its wonderful shopping and restaurants. Also, close by is the famous Dillard House and Stables. Enjoy southern family style dining and scenic horseback rides around the property. Dillard, GA also offers several wonderful antique stores. A little over an hour drive and you arrive at beautiful Bryson City with The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad as well as the Cherokee Reservation and Harrah's Casino. In this area you will also have access to the Blue Ridge Parkway with scenic drives to take in the beautiful views of The Great Smoky Mountains.

Hidden Gem Cabin
My husband and I recently stayed at your cabin and it is absolutely beautiful. The cabin is very large, clean, and decorated beautifully. It was the perfect location for us to unwind peacefully from our busy lives. We will keep this cabin in mind for future visits!

Great house!
The house was great! The location is close to Black Rock Mountain state park and conveniently located between Clayton and Dillard. The house was clean and in a very quiet area. I would highly recommend this house.

Great lodge
The lodge was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the overall layout and decor. It was very close to the state park and was a great private little cove on the mountain. We had snow flurries as we left this morning. We hope to come back again!

Exceeded expectations!
Great location next to Black Rock State Park and just a short drive to Tallulah Gorge. Clayton has incredible restaurants. If you're going Whitewater rafting definitely go with Southeastern outfitters which was also close to this exceptional property. Would certainly recommend! A+++

Very nice, clean cabin. Pretty easy access, beautiful area, and amazing sky at night. There is plenty of room to hang out inside or out. Thanks for a very nice stay!

3rd Stay at this property
We keep coming back because of the cabin’s atmosphere and its location. This time we stayed for 4 nights and in addition to Black Rock Mountain State Park and Tallulah Falls State Park, we enjoyed the Little Tennessee River Greenway in North Carolina. We saw a few flurries this year, too!

Quiet and peacful
The cabin is located in a remote very quiet area. Relaxing on the large outdoor patio with morning coffee and at the end of the day was amazing.

Cabin in the woods
Great little cabin in the woods! It felt very secluded even though there are neighbors close by and is a fairly quick drive into town (either Dillard or Clayton). We will definitely be back to explore more!

We stayed here to go on some hikes at Black Mountain and Tallulah Gorge. The house gives a mountain feel with wood everywhere. Enjoyed the gas logs on chilly nights. Peggy was responsive and helpful with our questions.

Well appointed mountain getaway
Great spot with nice amenities to settle into for a cozy weekend. We had a great time on our visits. But it could have been a smidge better. Two weaknesses of note: first, Internet was a bit slow and unreliable. Second, cleaning since last guests was a bit weak... crumbs under table, dirty toilet, about a half roll of TP in each bathroom.

Black Rock Cabin
The cabin was very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace in cool evenings and the fire pit outside. The area was so very peaceful. The cabin is tucked away high up on the mountain. The road and driveways can be a little challenging for people that aren't used to narrow graded roads but really not a big deal.

Convenient but secluded
The cabin was spacious and secluded which provided a perfect getaway for a holiday weekend. It’s incredibly close to decent hiking and Clayton’s cute downtown scene. We also drove to Bryson City for tubing while we were there and it was a pretty easy drive. The cabin was clean, had a great amount of cooking utensils and good water pressure in the showers. We couldn’t figure out the dishwasher, but they had dish soap to wash everything by hand too.

Great location!
Had a wonderful stay for a few days before Thanksgiving. The cabin worked out great for our needs as it is near two state parks and not too far of a drive from GSMNP. Clayton is just a few minutes away and had everything we needed. Secluded enough to not have to see or hear anyone while there. Overall was very clean, except under the beds where the kids discovered a past guests socks embedded in a thick layer of dust. Checkout instructions were clear and it was no big deal to bring the trash with us as we had not generated much. We would recommend this location for a relaxing get-away and will likely be back.

Lovely cabin in the woods
This cabin is beautiful. A perfect getaway for a family, couple , friends, or just to get some alone time. It’s got a full kitchen , dinning room, with full sized table, cozy living room with gas fire place (I couldn’t get it working but someone who knows what they are doing might lol) the porch is absolutely amazing with rocking chairs to enjoy morning coffee or tea. And a relaxing fire pit to chill around in the evening. I had an awesome time visiting for my daughters wedding . If I ever come back to this area this will be the place I’ll be renting for sure!

Second Stay
This was our second stay at this property. We love the location and decor of the cabin. It’s roomy enough for 2 adults and 4 kids (ages 8-15). We hiked Black Rock Mountain (minutes away) and Tellulah Falls (15 min away) State Parks. We purchased firewood at the large grocery store in town for the fire pit. This cabin was great in the cold weather we had this year and in the warmer weather we had last year.

Mid March Mini Vacation
Very nice. Could have used more extra blankets in the closet. A little more description about recycling and where to take it. Also a separate recycle trash can. TV was complicated to use. Very much enjoyed the gas auto light fire place.

Too woodsy--couldn't see the mountains for the trees blocking our view. Guest should not have to drop off garbage. Spider webs hanging inside cabin. Fireplace didn't light up. Toliet seat in upstairs bathroom loose. Dirt roads around cabin very rough and bumpy and too narrow. Weeds need to be cut around cabin. We would have been better off staying in a hotel.

Family getaway
When we got there I found the cabin to be very beautiful. However it was very dirty. I did not complain because the host was thoughtful to let us check in early. But I wish I had. Two weeks after the visit I get a charge of $100 for extra cleaning. Charge was for dishes left in sink, urine in toilet, linen on floor, and games left out. Well I loaded dishwasher and washed dishes that didn’t fit. Wasn’t sure where games were found so stacked neatly on hearth. Had kids so one might have peed and forgotten to flush just before we left. I can’t say. Don’t know where a dish in the sink might have come from. And I stacked the linens in front of the washing machine. What I found when I got there was fans with half an inch of dust, nasty floors and basically in need of a good cleaning. I believe I was the lucky one that got to pay for it with a bogus claim we left it a mess. Oh I was told clothes were left. I assure you no one intentionally left any of their clothes. At 3 am as we were trying to make sure everything was done to leave the house according to instructions i did the best I could. I read someone else say they had to pay for cleaning that they disputed. I ignored because I didn’t read anyone else say that. My warning is if you stay there and the house is dirty when you walk in notify the host. Take pictures of every room. I think the housekeeper is not being honest with the host. And propane grill never had propane. Beware.
