"The staff was very nice and welcoming. The property well located close to train station. However, the room was tiny and a bit old, with many stains on the carpet and the bathroom. The bathroom door was not closing properly, the shower walls needed to be cleanse throughly. Lastly the bedsheets were full of dust (they were clean but were generating way too much dust particles in air when manipulated). To finish on positive note: the breakfast was good. "The Riad El Maati is traditional and yet modern and functional inside the room. It’s an easy 20 min walk from the train station. It has electrical outlets in the right places, plenty of wardrobe shelves, and built-in wall heaters. The terrace deck is stunning too. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating, such as for extra blanket. Flexibility with breakfast schedule on departure day. "This Riad was one of the best places we gave stayed in Morocco. Location was not too far into the medina and very easy to find. Unlike other riads in Fes and other cities, we didn't realize how deep into the medina they are located and to walk for a long time with luggage( cars are not allowed in these areas) became a struggle.We wete also only a 15min walk to the oceanside where we had a lovely seafood meal while watching the ocean tide at sunset. "It was my first time staying at a Riad and didn’t know what to expect. Centrally located in the older part the city (medina) with easy walk to the soul, casbah and multiple choices for dining, the staff are very pleasant an the rooms and the rooftop terrace are charming. Just note that if you have a car you must find parking on Laalou street (Maximum 5 minutes walk). Highly recommended "
