"Nice hotel in an area a little away from the main points of Quintero. I had a few problems with the service in the hotel. Rude housekeeping because on the morning that they knocked the door to clean the room we had yet to put the "do not disturb" sign on the door. The housekeeper was extremely rude. The next day after the room had been cleaned there were no towels in the room. I called reception (after i had got out of the shower!) and it took more than 20 minutes for towels to arrive. "Thanks! All good, but my wife was mad at me because I had ice-cream after dinner and not her. But the hôtel was good, room was big enough we didn’t have to talk for all the night. The light to Read is too strong so again, when i want to Read and she wanted to sleep, she was mad. Bed is soft so be aware. Again. Wife was mad when i moved during the night. Thanks for hôtel service and car service. Very professional. "

Too zoo-like for me

"It has beautiful views from the restaurant below street level. That is the best thing about this place. The locks and all the security gates, etc. are very trying, and the stairways are all a bit scary. The neighborhood, while cute and funky, has very narrow streets, like a maze, and the hotels here do not offer anywhere to park. The whole area on weekends is very crowded and noisy with street performers competing loudly for attention."

"This place met our expectations and more. The kind and friendly staff made our stay so amazing. They helped us get my dad to the doctor. The meals were just what we wanted and needed. Everyone was so attentive. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Viña Del Mar is a definite return visit. "
