"Our family greatly enjoyed our week staying in Watercombe. The waterfront is stunning and we frequently took out the kayaks to explore the bay. All amenities worked very well for us. One note for anyone staying longer (we stayed for a full week) would be that trash and recycling have to be driven out to the main road on collection day and there is not an outdoor bin to store a trash should you generate more than one bag."

"This is a lovely cottage, beautiful views, great area. I do however have some things I wasn't happy with, mostly the beds. The beds were not comfortable, most of us did not sleep well. That to me is the whole point of renting a place to stay, is to sleep, if the beds aren't comfortable, I won't be coming back. Also, the place wasn't very clean. Every kitchen drawer and cupboard I opened definitely needed cleaning. The amount of dead bugs in the light fixtures was just gross to be honest. ...

"We were excited about our stay at Rice Lake! But the house had a few problems and it made our stay less enjoyable. The small A/C unit is located in the living room area and not in the bedrooms. So every night was hot, and unable to cool the rooms properly. Second problem was the washer failed on the 2nd day of our stay and the owners did not fix the problem. They sent out someone to tell us they're working on purchasing a new washer but this forced us to go to the another laundry. It also...

"We were there in july 2024, family of 4. Overall, great country cottage, with everything we needed! Couldn't ask for more!! We felt like home. Near Sandbanks and Picton. And breweries ...btw Slake brewery is a wonderfull place! A lots of games available too ! The outside, hamac, table and the fire pit is wow! Sunsets are amazing! The host was always available for my questions ! And fast response! We really appreciate our week there. I would go back anytime!!"

"We had an amazing time here! Booked it originally as it had a sauna and hot tub as weather April can be hit or miss, and they were a lovely addition to the property that we enjoyed immensely. Nick and Rob were extremely helpful and friendly. The power went out for a little bit on one of our mornings and they were very helpful and generous in trying to make sure our stay wasn't impacted. Definitely would come back here in the summer months to enjoy all it has to offer! "
