"Excellent location and superb staff. Breakfast buffet was simple and fresh. The room was ok, my particular room had some issue with the double glazing so there was condensation in between the glass panes, making the window hard to see through. This problem rectified itself in a few days as the temperature outside climbed higher. Comfy beds, and the mini fridge and coffee machine were nice touches. Would definitely stay again "

"One of our best hotel experiences ever! Truly unique design of this hotel, just fascinating how they have a tall tower of smooth river rocks in the central lobby which reach from floor to ceiling and are contained within a wire cage, and then the undulating floor balconies surround it. "The palace is located in the center of the town making it accessible to all forms of transportation. Being that the hotel is located in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the old town, the noise didn’t bother me when I was in the hotel room. I also want to give a shout out to Luz, who prepared breakfast with the most delicious foods and baked goods! I can’t leave out the front desk staff either, they were all so helpful, joyful and friendly. "

"Al ver las fotos esperábamos estar en una casa con una chimenea muy bonita, pero cuando llegamos nos dijeron que la chimenea no se podía usar, que estaba anulada. Además de la foto, la casa sale cuando buscas casas en Frías con chimenea. Deberían corregir esto y eliminar la foto del dosier de la casa. Por lo demás, la casa muy bonita y bien equipada, y la zona tiene una muy merecida visita."

"We stayed in this beautiful house with three families. The swimming pool was amazing. The house was of high quality and was very clean. It easily fitted our 12 people group which included 6 adults and 6 children. Toni the host was very responsive and was kind enough to arrange a pack and play for our little one and also to help us with receiving documents and our lost luggage. Be sure to book ahead.

"Receptionist was most unfriendly to the point of ignorance. The room price demanded on arrival was 50% more than advertised on the website. When this was pointed out he just asked if I had a booking - if not then this was the only price available. I refused to pay extra, went online and booked through an agency for the advertised price and went to the desk again with my booking confirmation. He slapped the paperwork, passport and room key on the desk, pointed to the sky and turned his back on me…I think he is not happy in his job."

Lovely hotel.

"Lovely hotel. Not sure it warrants four stars, but very friendly and clean. One thing, the windows open outwards with the opening starting only 6 inches from the floor on the third floor with a nothing to stop someone falling out. I have a photo but cant upload. Sorry."
