"Couldn't ask for much more. Large and clean space for myself and my two adult sons with three full bedrooms as advertised. I should mention that that the suite is on the second floor with access being a very long flight of stairs so would not be appropriate for mobile impaired and maybe elderly. The suite is near the 'highway' and train tracks so a bit noisy- might be worse in summer if the windows need to be open. "This rental provides a private, well located place for a short term visit. Access to the unit is by stairs to the back of the main house located on a hill with a lovely water view. The kitchen facilities are somewhat limited but adequate, especially for those out sightseeing most of the time. Aside from noise from those living upstairs over the unit, it is a very comfortable place to stay. "

"Very easy to get to the highway to explore the south shore or HRM. Nice to have a separate space from the hosts. Hosts responded very quickly to any questions we had. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Loved the dishwasher! Consider bringing slippers as the floors get cold - not a big deal! The views from this second story are worth it!"

"We had a wonderful stay on Dakin St. while visiting family in the Halifax area. The location is perfect, easy access to main roads and close to the harbour. I have family in Dartmouth, Tantallon and Truro, so this was perfectly located. The place itself was lovely. "Over all a good place to stay. However the shower is not big enough and the shower head is in the wrong place. Difficult to have a proper shower. The place has very high humidity and the dehumidifier needs to be connected to a proper drain to run full time. "
