"Good hotel with amazingly clean rooms. Room was big and recently renovated, lots of space and nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Big windows let in loads of natural light, and opening windows allowed fresh air which was nice. The location allows for easy access and parking, and then it's a very short walk to the centre of the historic town. Friendly team and good breakfast. As some other people commented, no, they don't speak English - but it turns out the hotel is in Germany, so...

The staff were quite nice and accommodating (not everyone spoke English but this was not a problem). A delicious breakfast was provided and there is offsite parking available. "The hotel in itself was an amazing experience, as it was a very historical place with low ceilings and loads of atmosphere. At our checkin the service was not very friendly. My wife made the checkin while I parked the car, and she do not speak very much German, and when she tried to communicate with the clerk in english he seemed almost offended. However the next day, the service was a lot nicer (from a different clerk) and overall it was a nice stay. "
