Home away from home

What a wonderful stay we had at this lovely place! It was terrific - very well appointed and so comfortable. A joy to call it “home” while we were away! And our host was so kind and helpful when we needed her! Highly recommend!

Our stay was just perfect. We would definitely stay here again. Just FYI the stairs to get up to the apartment are a little steep, not a problem for us but just something to be aware of. Perfect location to go visit Old Quebec City and also to go skiing. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Quaint in Quebec

Conveniently located just outside Québec City, moments from Montmorency Falls and the bridge to l'ile de Orleans. Very friendly owners living downstairs, so there is consideration for noise. Enjoyed our visit.

Wonderful stay with convenient access to Quebec City

We loved this place. It's spacious, with plenty of sitting areas to spread out. The location is quiet, outside Quebec City, yet still with easy access to Quebec City, Sentiers du Moulin, and Mont Sainte Anne. Our host Elaine was so gracious and helpful! And we got to meet the neighbors who live downstairs and get ice cream from the pizza place on the ground level.

Description was accurate. Very convenient to Quebec City and other areas of interest. Also close to nearby IGA. Apartment was air conditioned in the main living area, but the bedrooms were a bit hot at night with doors closed. The host was excellent and responsive. I would recommend and stay again.

Relaxed location

The location of the rental property was excellent for our family. We loved to be staying a bit further away from the city so we can enjoy quiet and relaxed atmosphere after touring Old Quebec City and neighboring places. Quebec City was a very short drive away. We also visited the island with farms, boutiques, wineries and other cute places. The host Elaine was excellent!

Wonderful place to experience Quebec

The place has a country side cottage feel. We stayed for 6 nights and explored Quebec and the coast and old highway. The location was perfect! The neighbors were charming and friendly. We even got to try the restaurant below. The place was perfect for us traveling with our daughter and cat. It was fully equipped and felt like home! The view of the church was charming! The people were amazing - generous, friendly and proud of Quebec! 😃

Leisure at L'Ange-Gardien

Elaine’s place is a very comfortable base to explore Quebec City and the surrounding attractions. Elaine is a fantastic host, very responsive in her communications and very helpful. We stayed over a week and enjoyed our stay. Elaine’s pizza restaurant is right below on the first floor and serves delicious pizza and ice cream. Vieux Quebec is only 20 minutes away and the beautiful Montmorency Falls, only 10 minutes away. We are even managed to visit the Jacques Cartier National park (45 mins away). Overall, a very pleasant stay! Highly recommended!

A weekend away

My husband and I wanted to visit Quebec City. I looked at a bunch of properties in the city but they didn’t speak to me. I saw this property and thought it was too good to be true. It was exactly as advertised. The rental was beautiful, clean and well stocked. Elaine checked in with us when we arrived. It was an easy drive to get into the city, the island or anywhere we needed to go. Parking was free and just down the stairs. We have recommended this place to everyone we have told about our trip. If we return to QC this is the place we will stay!!!!

Amazing property

Check in process was very easy. House is great, bigger than it looks on the photos and it looks great in them! Well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook, which we didn't! Above the pizza and ice cream parlour, but no noise at all. Tried the pizzas and ice cream and would recommend. The house is about 15 minutes from Quebec City and super easy to get in and out of the city. its also very close to Monmorency falls, carpark at the top of the falls is about a 5 minute drive from the house. There's a corner shop a five minutes walk from the house which was very handy. Also just over a mile on the same road as the house is a lovely vineyard, we walked so we could do tastings and it was well worth it! there's also a lovely neighbour downstairs!

Tour du Quebec

Stair railing needs some work. If checking in after dark you should be warned about the step down into the diing area, or provide marking to bring it to your attention. (Tripping hazard). Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the location, we also met and enjoyed the company of Bernard and Johanne the downstairs tenants.

The space is lovely. The stair railing, as pictured, needs some tending to and there is a full flight of stairs. It would have been nice if there were instructions about the use of the air conditioning and plumbing in the shower, it took us a minute to figure that all out. I would highly recommend this unit, these are just notes

Very clean property in adorable village

We really enjoyed our stay in this very nice property in a cute, quiet little village! Very clean! Amenities (kitchen and bathroom) were up to date/modern, and vintage decor was so well done. Loved the little balcony overlooking the village. Location was great - off the beaten path but close to the city. I highly recommend this property. Host, Elaine, was very responsive/available.
