"We loved our stay at this hotel which was a family holiday for 8 days. We booked two of the larger rooms (one double one single in each) as we were four (parents and children aged 19,21). The rooms were great with one of them semi divided down the middle. We could see the biggest rooms could take a family of 4 with younger children and those had the balcony. The hotel price is good - much less than central Calagari and with a car we had easy access to the city with a 15 min drive. The beach was 2 mins drive or 15-20 mins walk and was a nice beach with some restaurants. Other nicer beaches to the east were 20 mins drive which were good for snorkelling. There were restaurants nearby but we preferred to drive to the city and eat there most days. We visited a small winery town one day (Serdiana) and did a mountains walk. The hotel doesn’t have great views but not a big issue - it was quiet and the hotel had feee parking. The aircon was fine although we never had really hot weather. It may have struggled more in 36-40c. The staff were very helpful and room service great- all very clean. The breakfast we only had one day - it was fine but we didn’t want much so found a nice place opposite that did coffee and pastries for a good price. Most restaurants are good prices for pizza / pasta unless you go very fancy. Drinks are quite cheap and ice creams. As a UK family it was nice to go somewhere not so populated with Brits. The mini bar was useful as a fridge. Thank you Best Western!"

"Stayed at this property for 5 nights in July. Positives include: 1. Beautiful good size rooms 2. Good location within walking distance to grocery store and beach. 3. Free secure car parking included 4. Good air conditioning allowing good sleep Negatives: 1. Washing machine available but must pay 5 euros to access - this additional cost wasn't mentioned when booking the room. 2. Opening car park gate is a pain as you need to physically get out the car to unlock it with a key. Would be better if you can replace with either a swipe card or be able to key in a code. Sometimes the gate was also closed during the day which was painful getting in and out. 3. Reception desk doesn't appear to be consistently manned as we waited for ages in the day but there was no one there. 4. Staff communication hit and miss - tried to request for extension of stay with less people as one party of 4 were leaving early but it was unclear whether staff understood this request so in the end booked elsewhere to be sure they would not be charged for 8 people instead of 4. 5. Inadequate toilet paper for 5 night stay for 8 people provided 6. Inadequate dishwashing tablets provided (only 2 for 5 night stay for 8 people) 7. Bedroom curtains quite light and not adequate for blocking out the early morning sun. 8. Inadequate coffee pods provided (only 2 for 8 people for 5 night stay). The worst thing was the nearby grocery store did not sell these coffee pods hence no way to use the coffee machine."

"Falling asleep at night listening to the waves crashing was so beautiful, that just explains the location, it really is just off the beach. The property is very secure and has off road parking. The apartment has everything you need for your stay, and when we asked for more pillows, we got them straight away. Our host Stefano was very welcoming and helpful. He even came to our aid with our parking ticket. This holiday did not disappoint, it was memorable."

"A well equipped beautifully situated villa high on a Sardinian hillside. The pictures represent it exactly. Sunny all day but with a nice cooling breeze to keep things comfortable. Quite a few steps to get in and out but good exercise for the leg muscles. Karin and Angela were very helpful in getting us into the villa very late at night as our ferry was cancelled and sorting out a minor electrical issue. The recycling is rather complex but that is down to the local authorities. All in all, highly recommended."

"There was no functioning WiFi available to stay for a week. The location is great but the accommodation is run down . We went into the room and tried WiFi , no connection ! The owners spoke only Italian , he brought an old router that we used to connect 15 years ago… We could not check the speed of WiFi because no connection —>we told him we could not stay because we had zoom meetings scheduled . We could not cancel our reservation anymore from our end, the owner texted me to cancel 2 days later in Italian , Vrbo said the owner wanted to follow the strict cancellation policy , but WiFi was not available though it said free WiFi ☹️ we tried to work this out with Vrbo but it is up to the owner, we have a proof of no connection from the screen shot. I need to dispute this with our CC company …."

"Lovely villa in a peaceful neighbourhood close to the stunning beaches of Sardinia. Jo and Francesco were brilliant and the villa is equipped with everything you could need. Highly recommended."
