We had several rooms to accommodate the 8 of us. Only the corner room (2 double beds) seems to have any view, the others face a wall.
Pros: Good value. New building (Oct 2019). Very very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms, bathroom, towels, sheets were all nice and clean.
Owner was friendly and helpful and accommodating, helped with transportation to train station, and even made some special sweet sticky coconut rice for breakfast and got us samosa. The breakfast was good, local options, fried tofu and falafel, rice, noodles, hot soup, toast with butter and jam, good fresh fruits.
Location close to train station, open market, and restaurants, but just off the main street enough to be relatively quiet. We sat out in front of the hotel at night and enjoyed the cool evening with a couple of beers. Just enough traffic to keep it lively without being a bother.
Short walk to MayMyo Cafe, which you should definitely check out, great local coffee, food, and ambiance at a good price.
Also, very close to good, inexpensive barber, got our son's hair cut there.
Cons: No elevator. Seems they don't service the room or replace towels, toilet paper, etc unless you ask. Shower had good flowrate, but temperature was hard to control and wasn't stable (going cold/hot so be prepared to jump out of the way when needed!). Bathroom was a bit small and tight.
