"The gite is in a very rural location. It was generally ok. We stayed 3 nights, the one bedroom has a very slanted roof and it’s easy to bang your head on the ceiling. The stairs are also quite steep and again you have to be careful. My main comment are around the lack of small things like no shower mat, nowhere to put soap/ shampoo in the shower, only 2 dishwasher tablets, no dishcloth, one sponge/ scourer pad, no cleaning sprays, one tea towel, one laundry capsule, a small amount of washing up...

"Petite maison de caractère (un ancien four) bien rénovée et très bien aménagée dans une campagne calme. Aux abord de Revel, belle ville très animée avec son marché des producteurs le mercredi soir et son superbe marché sous les Halles du samedi. Toulouse, Albi, le Lac de St Féréol.... Les propriétaires sont très gentils et au petits soins pour leurs hôtes."

"We returned to En Macary this year and, like last year, had a fabulous time. Jean-Claude and Francoise were the perfect hosts and the house, garden and pool continue to exceed expectations. While we spent most of the time pottering around the local village and swimming we also enjoyed visiting the jardins des martels, penne castle, Castres and rocks of Sidobre. All in all, couldn’t ask for a better holiday"

"Very briefly, the accommodation was faultless - traditional with splendid views of the most beautiful French farm land and hills. Our hosts could not have been more helpful. The Tarn area is not so much spectacular as gently beautiful and probably underestimated by tourists. Also a rich history and cultural heritage to discover and explore. I cannot recommend this property and its hosts too highly. Thank you!"

"We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...

"Un agréable séjour dans le gîte très calme où nous avons pu faire de belles balades pour découvrir la région, il y a un étang où nous avons pu pêcher brochet et perche. Nous aimons jouer à la pétanque, ce qui était possible à côté du gîte. Je recommande d'y passer un séjour."

"Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cette location. Petit point ce pendant à améliorer ,des portes manteau dans la salle de bain seraient les bienvenus et la cour extérieur aurait mérité un bon coup de débroussaillage .Pas non plus de séchoir à linge portable dans la maison. Beaucoup de belles balades à faire au tour du gîte.Et merci à Carole pour son accueil."
