"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. "This was the highlight of our trip to the midi-Pyrenees. Set in a tiny village in rolling hills, close to many delightful medieval towns and the amazing city of Albi. (best to locate on google maps on phone - not the TomTom) Isabelle made us very welcome - she emailed me 2 days before to ask what time to expect us, if we wished to have dinner, and any food preferences.. Nice location, me met hosts at their address and followed them to the rental by car. You will need google translate to communicate as they are very friendly but speak NO English.
