Gîtes"Le Sud" dordogne valley is located on the northern border of the Lot department 300 m from the Dordogne river in the middle of a beautiful countryside . At 1 km, the Bastide of Puybrun, quiet village with its church, its hotel with restaurants, pizzeria, bars, bakeries, butchers, supermarket, post office, tobacco shop and pharmacy. At 5 km away, in Bretenoux-Biars, you will also find good supermarkets, banks and various shops. Tuesday and Saturday mornings are market days in Bretenoux under the arcades of the old square.

Gîtes"Le Sud"dordogne valley is a real Quercy style farmhouse with its 19th century barns and 15 acres of gardens, meadows and fields that abound in wild flowers (ten varieties of orchids recorded on the estate), in birds (red kite) , wild animals (deer), aquatic fauna . The carefully cultivated gardens form a colorful palette that harmonizes with the ocher-colored stone buildings. From the first snowdrops to autumn tones, this wooded region will delight nature lovers and those eager to relax..

Gîtes"Le Sud" dordogne valley is at the center of prestigious historical sites such as: Rocamadour (25 minutes away), the Padirac chasm (15 minutes away) and the Lacave cave (30 minutes away) etc. All easy access and return to"Le Sud"to offers peace and relaxation at the edge of the pool.

The heated saline pool (12 x 6 m) surrounded by umbrellas and illuminated in the evening is available during the middle and high season for use by residents as well as access to meadows and woods. We are also equipped with table tennis, petanque, and for children we put at disposal swings, dollhouse and trampoline. In the adjoining barn you will find the laundry room with automatic washing machines, irons, freezer for free use of the guests.

Whether you are a sun worshiper or a freshwater lover, you will be charmed in any season by "Le Sud"
We also offer bakery classes outside the high season.

Super séjour.
Remarquable lieu de séjour pour un groupe de cousins. Accueil très chaleureux de la part de Tom et Jérôme aux petits soins de leurs hôtes toujours disponibles pour résoudre les petits riens de la vie quotidienne. Tout est propre, fonctionnel, bien équipé. Cadre ydillique en plein dans la nature dans un calme merveilleux.

Erholung pur in wunderschönem altem Anwesen
Wir haben mit einer Gruppe von Kanufahrern das Anwesen mit 4 Wohnungen für eine Woche gemietet und kommen begeistert zurück. Alle Wohnungen sind liebevoll eingerichtet, die Küchen und Bäder sind modern und neu, viele der anderen Möbel sind kleine Antiquitäten bzw. passen stilvoll zu diesen. Mehr Charme geht nicht! In den Küchen war alles vorhanden was man braucht inkl. Backofen, Spülmaschine und Gefrierschrank zusätzlich zum Kühlschrank, Topp! Alles war einwandfrei sauber und macht einen gepflegten Eindruck, als wir ankamen waren die Zimmer vorgeheizt. Ferienhaus-typisch sind Pfannen teils abgenutzt und Messer etwas stumpf, wers braucht bringt sich da seine guten Messer besser mit. Die Schlafzimmer haben teils alte, teils neue Bettgestelle, die Matratzen waren aber durchgehend fest und gut und nicht durchgelegen. Das Aussengelände ist wirklich riesig und dazu noch sehr schön gepflegt. Man kann mit reichlich Platz Fussball oder Federball mit Netz spielen. Kinder können Trampolin springen und schaukeln, die großen spielen Boule oder sitzen einfach in der Landschaft und lassen den Blick schweifen. Abends haben wir den überdachten Platz genutzt und wunderbar gegrillt, das geht mit Gasgrill und/oder Holzkohle, ist alles da. Wenn wir zur Kanutour aufgebrochen sind gab es meist Paddler, die lieber auf dem Anwesen bleiben wollten um es zu genießen anstelle zu paddeln, das sagt wohl alles. Unsere Gastgeber wohnen auf dem Gelände und haben sich sehr nett um uns gekümmert. Schon die Begrüßung war toll, auch später fanden sie das richtige Maß an Unterstützung und Begleitung, da fiel der Abschied schwer.
