"We arrived at the hotel to be told they had no rooms for us. We had been travelling all day from Bangkok and it was new years eve. Char, our tuk tuk driver, drove us around until we found 2 rooms in the D'Angkor Prince hotel. We contacted Hotels.com who sorted us that accommodation for one night and a further 2 night's at the Mekong Angkor Palace. The staff at the Sakura weren't bothered about us in fact they laughed and said it had happened to someone else earlier that day. We had booked...

"The staff and the location were great, the staff definitely went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. The only down side was its not great for young solo travellers who enjoy the social side of travelling although I did get talking to some of the other guests at breakfast. However if you're an outgoing person then pub street is only 1 minute walk away so you're sure to get talking to people down there!"

"This guesthouse/hotel was located further than I expected from the down town area, you need to walk dirt road quite a long time to reach this place. When i enter the room. I found a big cockroach on the wall next to the restroom. Room pictures looked clean and new but it was nothing like that. Ive been traveling east asia long time so i don't expect much to be honest but air conditioning machine stopped working suddenly. It looked like more than 15 years old. "We have stayed here a number of times. The breakfast is ok but limited. Its cheap and clean however it does need new sunloungers round the pool to make it more comfortable. If you are on a budget definitely recommend this place "
