"When we arrived the key was not in the lock box, but this was quickly rectified and the property manager came within 10 mins after a phone call, so this was not a huge problem… we are all only human!. It was not clear to me how much cleaning we were meant to do at the end. I was pretty sure I had paid to not have to vacuum etc but this was not clear in the email or at the bach itself. I called the property manager to find out. She said we had a late departure due to the key incident, however...

"Would not recommend staying here. Building work starts at 6.30am each day. House is freezing and only heat pump is so noisy it gives you a headache. Beds v uncomfy. And mice ate our food in the night. Obviously a big issue as traps everywhere… spoilt what could have been a lovely location."

"Property has a great location for watching all the activity in Mārahau from the deck whilst having breakfast! Explored the Abel Tasman tracks, visited Split Apple Rock and Kaiteriteri. Cafe/bar was close by for coffees or happy hour and dinner. Lovely holiday in a kiwi bach - thank you!"
