"Central location, with beach nearby and easy access to cafes/bars/restaurants. Swimming pool small & not many sunbeds around it, always reserved by towels first thing in morning. Apartments basic but have all you need, bring own hair dryer or you can hire from reception. Safe available to hire €2.50 a day. Cleanliness is to a high standard! Staff are very friendly and work hard. If poor mobility request ground floor, as lots of steps up to first floor apartments."

"Two words describe Apartamentos Villa Canaima "Absolutely Fabulous". The apartment and grounds were spotlessly clean. The reception staff were courteous and helpful. The cleaning staff were friendly and efficient. The barman in the poolside bar was great and the food and drink was very reasonably priced. "We stayed with our 2 children for a long weekend to get some sun and relaxation. Walking distance to some restaurants, the ferry and grocery store. A short drive to a breaking beach with descent waves. We drove 10/15 minutes to the next town over for more waves and beachside restaurant and play park. Only 40 drive from the airport with sea views the entire drive. A simple space but clean and functional... only complaint is that there was barely enough hot water for one shower let alone 4 of us!"

"The photos for this property do not do it justify. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment with sea view and balcony. The whole apartment was immaculate. The views are amazing, you can see the sunrise from your bed. The communication was great and the staff were alwaya there to assist and checking everything was ok. We hired a car and took the option of using the parking available for an additional fee. We will be back "

" Small compact apartment that has been refurbished nicely but could do with some updating here and there since refurbishment, such as the chairs on the patio the seats of which are small, short and uncomfortable. "The apartment is in a lovely private complex and the outlook with seaview, pool view, lovely terrace and furniture were great. You're very central walking 150m youre on the promenade at Plata Bastian, 7-8 min walk through a cut you're in the square, 5 min to supermarket etc. Host was avaluable for questions and we were met by local lady for check in. Cant fault these points but..... The apartment is in need of TLC and as regular apt hirers this one was poor by comparison to others in the town....

"We had a lovely stay. Room is basic but fine for what we needed. Beds are comfy but pillows not so much, 2 pillows for each person would be better. Sofa could do with a little clean. Facilities are good, breakfast was good and staff are friendly. Both times we have stayed here we have had to wait for are rooms to be ready, perhaps the hotel need to look to change their 2pm check in time that they state. But overall we had a lovely stay and will definitely come back to stay again soon. "
