We enjoyed our stay at this beach resort. Beautiful grounds, very nice beach, amazing food options, beautiful spa. The facilities though need some facelift. Simple things like comfortable bed pillows, new bathroom mirror ( ours looked like 100 years old), working drawers would make rooms nicer. Overall we liked our stay.

This resort met our expectations. The rooms are clean, our patio was my favorite part. The beach is gorgeous and the staff do a wonderful job at keeping up with the property and customers requests. My only negative is the sales pressures, from the spa attendees to the peddlers on the beach..but even they were nice, so not much negative to say there!

The resort was nice with good entertainment and the beach was nice. The food during the day was not the best. Also, at night the bars ran out of drinks and it was a bit hectic trying to get one. Overall it was a good resort

I loved the gorgeous pools, the great food, and the size of the resort. It was very easy to get around the resort, and I thought the staff was excellent, especially Danny Matos who was the first person I met when I arrived at the resort and who made me feel welcomed.

I enjoyed my stay at the Occidental Punta Cana. I usually stay at Dreams, but was traveling with friends this time. For the inexpensive price point, I was highly surprised at how big and accommodating this resort was. I had emailed before to ask if we could have rooms in the same area, and they did. Much of the staff also speak good English. I went for Spring Break and they tried their best to make fun for the younger crowd. Family friendly atmosphere, even with all the spring-breakers. Clean. Security patrolling often. Food was mediocre, but that is to be expected with most all-inclusives. Honestly, I would stay again.
