"The villa itself looks as per the pictures. The villa is set in a neglected large plot. The front garden is not usable, but could be an amazing space. The trees by the pool all need pruning and there are several cactus plants that would be a hazard to small children. The crazy paving around the pool has started to break-up. "From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the gracious property manager, we knew this villa would be the perfect setting for our multi-generational family holiday. The layout allowed for everyone to have their own space with plenty of room around a gorgeous outdoor stone table for evening meals together. "This is truly an oasis. South Italy in the middle of summer is no joke. Extremely hot and not many places offer AC. Thankfully we found this place with AC units in the bedrooms and a pool to cool off in. The host Roberto is extremely accommodating and provides a great conveniences in a traditional Puglia setting. The house is ideally located to visit the wonderful sites of Puglia--very close to Ostuni, Alberobello, Taranto and close as well to Lecce and Bari and many great beach spots. "Wir wurden sehr freundlich von unserem Gastgeber empfangen. Uns wurde alles ausführlich erklärt und gezeigt. Die Gastgeber waren unkompliziert und freundlich. Das Haus liegt perfekt am Meer und nahe einem sehr leckerem Restaurant (fußläufig). Der Pool wurde jeden zweiten Tag gereinigt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt im Haus sehr genossen. Gerne jederzeit wieder!"

"Wonderful place. Super friendly on arrival and made sure we had a place to park. Great recommendations on what to do in Taranto. They made everything easy. Room was beautiful and comfortable, the terrace was lovely. Breakfast was also great. I wish we had been able to stay more than one night. Taranto is a fascinating city. The hotel is in the historic city, but at the edge, so it made arriving and parking easier. Easy walk to everywhere, including MARTA. The trattoria close by served excellent and very fresh (directly off the boat) fish. Highly recommend!"

"The Best Western in Massafra is a beautiful facility as it has only been open for a few months and everything is well cared for and gorgeous. I spent several hours working in the lobby area and found a nice little place to call home to get some serious work done.It also helped that there was a cappuccino bar with yummy pastries, and in the evening a bar for your first drink. The staff are amazing, courteous, and kind, and very attentive to your needs. From the moment you set foot into the hotel to the time you leave you feel as though you’re at home.. "

"We had a great time at Vinilia, the castle, surroundings and pool are wonderful. Our room had modern amenities with an Italian style. We had dinner at their restaurant Casamatta, chef Pietro Penna tribute to his cuisine and journey was outstanding, breakfast was the perfect starting of the day with delicious bread and fruits. Thank you to all the staff, they were very friendly and helpful, especial thanks to William and Andrea."

"Beautiful hotel. We had a room with a sea view. It was large and came with a fridge with complimentary drinks. They greet you with a welcome drink and sent us away with a regional bottle of wine. And, breakfast was spectacular with made to order selections."
