Pula is an ancient city, most known for its Amphitheater. Many ancient Roman monuments can be found in the city center, including Triumphal Arch of Sergius and Temple of Augustus.
Pula is also known for its beautiful beaches, gulfs, capes and surrounding islands with untouched nature. The nearest beach is Lungomare, a pebble beach surrounded with cliffs, popular for sunbathing, and a 4 km long promenade, perfect for relaxation and beatiful views.
National Park Brijuni and Limski zaljev (Channel of Lim) are also located in this area.

Since Pula is an antic Roman city, there are many monuments, museums, exhibitions and galleries to explore during your stay in this wonderful place. You can experience Roman ages by watching Spectacvla Antiqva – a show that is being held every few days in the Roman Amphitheatre.
There are several hiking and bicycle routes which you can take to explore the city and its surroundings. If you would like to see all of the city's highlights at once, try taking the Pula City Tour bus.
