"The hotel was great and quite easy to find but unless there is another way to get there you do have to walk through what most North Americans would consider an alleyway. I felt safe but just want to give others a heads up."

"We had a fantasy stay at Hotel Aleks! One of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in. There was a real sense of family towards each other and towards us (as the guests). The presentation of the property, the rooms and the cleanliness was far beyond our expectations. Despite an initial issue with Expedia they accomodated us with kindness. They included a few extra touches such as coffee, water and figs from their own garden. In addition, they were prompt and supported us with organising a daily trip with pick up from the hotel and with general information about the local area.
