After twenty+ years of staying in a condo along the Malecon, we have found our “new happy place” in Rebecca’s condo. It’s the perfect blend of all that makes visiting Puerto Vallarta something to look forward to. The condo is close to all that’s happening, but in a very safe and quieter neighborhood so you can experience the local vibe while relaxing along the river.
The pictures on the website are totally accurate. What they can’t catch is that on most days you have a nice breeze to keep the unit cool. We were there in early November (which turned out to be incredibly hot and humid– even by local standards) so we appreciated the air conditioning units in when we needed them.
Everything in the penthouse unit worked and there were plenty of towels, etc. so we could just enjoy being in our home away from home. Having two bathrooms is a plus and the one bathroom having a washer and dryer makes packing light so much easier! The unit is quite well equipped with the cooking utensils needed if you want to make use of the nearby meat, seafood and produce markets. Also nearby are a diverse collection of excellent cafes, so the options are many and you should get out, experience them and support local folks.
The pool and gym are just one flight of stairs above, and the views cannot be beat. The view of the city and jungle while working out in the well equipped gym helped to take our minds off the exercises. While at the rooftop pool we met several of the condo residents a
