"The pools and surrounding property were amazing. The restaurants were ok, but we found the buffet was the way to go for most meals, usually offering a nice quality and variety for all ages. I did not like the obnoxiously loud poolside music for aerobics and such…but not a huge deal. Beach was beautiful especially at sunset. We hope to return someday."

"Would definitely stay again. The staff were all great, there were many restaurants within a couple minute drive, and the beach was beautiful and quiet. Sand quality is not as good as some others, but there are dozens of beaches within 5-10 minutes or so. Rooms were spacious and as clean as you can really get on a tropical beach. "

"The hotel is a gem. Always clean and very friendly. Food nearby is wonderful. Beaches close clean and almost empty which we appreciated. "

"The sea can accommodation is as advertised. Simple, rustic. With some nice modern touches like good A/C, wifi, smart TV. Cozy and comfortable for 2. Fridge and microwave. It's a nice location, convenient to several beaches. Walk to restaurants, supers, etc.Rate is very reasonable and owners are friendly and communicative. A crew of friendly dogs on site to accompany you on your walks to coyote beach. Even in the dry season, quite a bit of bird life at the lagoons, adjacent trails and beach.It was a real enjoyable stay. Word of caution though if you're hoping to use the pool at the resort next door- they want 30 bucks to swim. Also wouldn't rent me a bike. Pretty "

"Nice place, a bit older, but clean. close to ocean, but a bit of a walk to get there. Big climb to get to rooms, ok if you are not physically hampered. Close to some decent dining if you have a car. Food at property was average. Great value for dollars. Rooms very small and bank of 5 rooms share a small patio space. Nice common space below at front office. Many staff were volunteers from other countries learning to Kite Surf, they were all very friendly."

"We had an excellent time. Had a pet Pedro the giant iguana that lives in the large tree and would come to visit the pool and greeted us upon arrival. House was amazing and pool was even better. Definitely a highlight of the trip."
