Great stay
Las Palomas has everything you need for a great vacation and this rental was the cherry on top. Easy to find, close to the elevator and easy to get to the pool. Daily maid service was nice and beds were comfortable.

Beautiful condo, close to the beach, both bedrooms had the view of the resort & sea & they made an actual room with a twin & double bunk instead of the awful futons or sleep sofa. It had everything you could possibly need.

Perfect Family Condo
My family and I LOVED our trip, the amenities, the property and the helpful staff. I've personally stayed at numerous locations in Rocky Point and this space was by far my favorite. It met and exceeded our expectations. I would definitely book it again.

The view was incredible
Loved every minute. Living room and both main rooms have patio access looking over the beach. The waves put us to sleep each night. It was the perfect size for our 2 families with kids.

The condo was beautiful. The view of ocean from balcony was amazing! The beds are so comfortable. And the linens are soft. The outside patio is perfect for company. I would stay there again. The only request we had is that we would have liked for the owner to call us. Just to tell him what a fantastic stay we had! 😊

Great view/location
Been going to Las Palomas every year since Phase 1 opened (~12 yrs ago) and this is one of the best condo's we've stayed at since coming to L.P. The view and sound of the ocean is great. One day it was so windy no boats in the water but the sound of the surf and the view of the whitecaps all the way out to the horizon was spectacular. The rooms were all very well kept. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple days where we didn't go out to one of our favorite restaurants in town. Would highly recommend.

It’s advertised as a three bedroom…
It’s a lovely place, great location, fab communication. My only complaint is that it’s really a two bed / two bath condo. The owners storage are, which is large has the bunk beds put it and that’s why they call it a three bedroom. There is no closet in that room and the bed itself is very rickety and noisy. No temperature control in that room. Other room where perfect and we had a great time.

I don’t normally write reviews except that the product I got is exceptionally good or bad. In this case, it is good. The view is AMAZING! We felt like that we were right on the beach! So close to the water! That is most important for beach vacation, isn’t it? The owner really takes care of the place. All the amenities this place offered really provides guests a pleasant stay. We especially appreciate all the little personal touches. The owner replied our emails fast and was very helpful with all we need since booking. Their website is very informational and I highly recommend that you click on it and take a look. It is a true piece of paradise for our vacation and we hope to come back soon! Hope this one will be available for our next trip dates! We already fell in love with it!

luxury feel
We have been to Rocky Point for many years. Las Palomas is THE best resort to stay with no doubt. This condo definitely has a luxury feel. We especially enjoyed the two beachfront bedrooms, which perfectly fit us, my daughter and son in law individually. Grandchildren stayed in bunkroom which is so fun for them! As for things to do, we like to go to fish market a few minutes driving from the resort. there is a nice market there for tourist. Prices are very reasonable. The condo's patio is HUGE! It has a big dinning table so we could be able to have our dinning on the patio at one night with beautiful beautiful view! Such a blessing. We always make sure that we eat a few meals at resort restaurants (they have two restaurants plus a snack lounge). Food are fantastic! We cannot wait to come back again! And this condo will be our first choice.

Our first ever disappointing stay at Las Paloma’s
My family & I visit the resort almost yearly & have always had amazing experiences with the booking, check in, the staff & the condos themselves. This visit unfortunately was very different. It was primarily due to this unit. I do not recommend renting it. I called ahead to ask if early check in (2hrs) was possible & if not we planned to go into town for lunch. We were told the unit was ready so we planned to just make lunch in the unit. After waiting in line over 30min we finally got to a person & were told the room was not ready & we would need to kill 2 hrs & get back in line to get keys later. We were hungry & this process took more than 1hr to wrap up before we could leave to go get food nearby. Frustrating but not the end of the world. The unit itself was the biggest issue. We thought we encountered only 2 issues at first, but it was the entire place. All of our feet were black with dirt within min of walking in & the patio door was stuck shut. Spots on the mirrors. The bedside lamp shade was hanging & broken, the 3rd “room” had no place for clothes or a suitcase, its door was busted in one panel & wouldn’t lock. The big decor on the wall was missing, all furniture in the home is scuffed & clearly had major wear & tear. The AC broke on our 2nd night & sounded like a garbage disposal even after. The tvs couldn’t connect. It felt like a low budget jenky place, not at all like Las Palomas we know & love. This unit is overpriced & rundown. So bummed about this one.

AC should not be locked
The decore was amazing, our issues was the AC is locked and you can’t change the temp. Set at 72 in the rooms and 70 in the common area. The master bedroom would jump to 78 sometime in the night and we’d wake up dying. It’s rude to not list that you lock the AC. We would never have chosen this room then. There is no spatula for cooking eggs or bowls for cereal for kids. No scrubber to do dishes. The cleaning lady would come around 3/4pm instead of when we were out all morning and early afternoon swimming. So we didn’t get our room cleaned the first day then had to get out the second day.

Good Stay, could have been Great if...
Our Family truly enjoyed our stay. The Resort was clean and our room was as described. We would return to this property, but perhaps try another unit. Overall we had a good stay, however it could have been great if some minor improvements were made or corrected. 1. Check in process was delayed, we had to wait 2 hours past normal check-in. We didn't get into the unit until after 6pm. Also, we were charged extra per day for our 7th person which was 8 yrs old. Since our unit listed as sleeps 7, we didn't expect to pay additional money. They told us that the bunk room didn't count since the unit was a 2 bedroom unit and limit was 6 persons and the bunkbeds excluded the sleeps 7 limit. At check in we had no choice but to pay the additional funds. A bit misleading advertising. 2. The elevators took a very long time to go up and down and arrive at our floor. Seemed the staff elevators were down, so many times the staff was occupying the small elevator with their bins and almost no room for the guest. For Example, on check out day and time our family had to split up and to just get a ride down, in which this whole process took us 30min just to catch a ride on the elevator. 3. Our unit had some cosmetic issues. Our main sliding glass door in the living area was extremely hard to slide open. we called maintenance and they came in the late evening and just sprayed WD-40. He said the rolling mechanism needed to be serviced by taking the doors completely off. So for the rest of our stay we had a faulty sliding door which we nearly tweaked our backs on every attempt. Additionally, the units appliances are very old and in need of a upgrade. Washer machine and dryer are clunky and noisy. The electric range did not handle all 4 burners at one time, possible an electrical source issue. The dishwasher was also older and did not wash dishes well, as we had dirty cups and plates post the washes. The filtered water faucet had high pressure when open, and had a leak when open that would get all over the counter when in use. The AC unit was just okay, the timers needed to be reset as they auto shut off midday, and as was mentioned in previous reviews, the AC was limited to 72deg min. The electric Grill in the patio deck, did not work at all, the electrical prongs were oxidized and made no connection at the outlet. The Bunkbeds were very unstable and seemed they have seen better days. The showers ran hot and didn't get cold water. Overall Good Stay.
