Potentially an excellent place, but disappointing.

We have been there a couple of times, because of the location, the beach, and the ocean view. Being under new management, the hotel has been just renovated. The rooms on the second floor have now spacious terraces overlooking the ocean. The beach has now more "palapas" and chezlongs. So, the place has a lot of potential, but..... it's still work in progress. Many features in the hotel description are just missing. In particular, there is no WiFi, except in a 30 foot radius from the receptionist, no TV whatsoever. The complimentary "American breakfast" is a joke: it consist of coffee, fruit, juice, and two slices of toast with little butter and jam, if you wait enough at your table expecting the real breakfast to come. The restaurant, which could be very attractive with its beach front terrace, is practically defunct, except for a cocktail or beer.

Dommage car ce sera un hôtel typique Mexicain bien situé dans Puerto Morelos Sauf que les services offerts doivent y etre!!!!!! J'aurais apprécié être contacter pour M, aviser que cet hôtel n,était pas du tout prêt à recevoir notre groupe de 6 soit 3 chambres. Plage petite, odeur de, essence car plusieurs petits bateaux

Hôtel en rénovation

Premièrement, cet hôtel n'était pas prête à recevoir des clients car en rénovation. L'accueil très ordinaire . Semblait étonné de notre arrivée. Les chambres non complètement terminées . Poussière et ruban de calfeutrage encore présent dans la garde-robe. Aucune commodité : téléviseur non branché, coffre de sûreté inutilisable , pas d'eau chaude et coupure d'eau dès notre premier soir à l'hôtel. La porte de chambre ne barrait plus. Pas de meuble de rangement avec tiroirs.aucun crochet .... La cuisine non fonctionnelle. Comme nous avions le déjeuner américain inclus dans notre forfait, le premier matin soit le dimanche nous avons eu notre déjeuner sans trop de problèmes ( les achats alimentaires se faisaient au fur et à mesure) mais le lendemain lundi nous aurions dû payer selon eux.. à partir de lundi le service a été très médiocre. Ils nous ignoraient et nous accommodaient pour le moment afin de nous voir quitter le plus tôt possible. Selon les dires de la responsable de l'hôtel, ils n'avaient pas été payé pour notre séjour chez eux..... Le site était très beau face à la mer avec grand balcon. La plage très petite et envahie de bateaux donc avec odeur de gazoline toute la journée. La piscine fermée à notre arrivée. Comme vous pouvez constater ce fut un cauchemar pour notre début de vacances au soleil.

this was to be cancelled and the 29th as well! We arrived at almost 11:30 at night and the hotel was under construction with NO electricity, running water OR BEDS!!! AND, we were never notified. We continued to drive around this little stretch of Puerto Morelos way past midnight looking for a place to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hôtel à éviter

Nous avions réservé dans cet hôtel pour une nuit. La chambre est spacieuse, propre mais ils nous ont pas donné de télécommande donc clim réglée sur 20°C sans possibilité de l'arrêter alors qu'à l'extérieur il faisait 35°C. Les serviettes de bains n'étaient pas dans la chambre, nous avons dû leur réclamer 2 fois avant de les obtenir. En ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner : temps d'attente de 45min, simple assiette avec 6 morceaux de fruits à l'intérieur et seulement 5 toasts pour 3 personnes. Le personnel est très désagréable, pas souriant et impoli : le serveur a demandé à une cliente installée sur une table donnant sur la mer de changer de place pour qu'une famille de mexicains s'y mettent à la place alors qu'il y avait 3 autres tables de libre. La cliente a refusé et le serveur l'a dévisagé et était très énervé contre elle. Le client n'est-il pas censé être roi et se placer où il le souhaite ? En conclusion : vraiment déçue de la prestation de cet hôtel de part son manque de professionnalisme auprès du client. Nous ne le recommandons pas.

Las condiciones del hotel en relación a la limpieza es aceptable. En relación a los servicios No cumple con lo que se ofrece en Internet. Habla que cuenta con Wi-Fi y no lo tiene en el hotel solo lo tiene en la recepción y alberca con señal débil. En mi caso me dieron el control de la televisión y vídeo y la habitación no tenia Televisión porque se la llevaron a reparar pero nunca llego. En la pagina de Internet dice incluye desayuno pero no dice que tipo y en el restaurante solo te dan un poco de fruta y café. En mi opinión es cuestión de aclarar en la pagina de Internet lo que se ofrece y respetar eso. En relación de precio no es tan económico en comparación a otros de su clase en esa región.

No wifi in room as advertised, No water the day we arrived so couldn't use the toilet, when the water did come on there was no hot water, TV not working, Pool half full and unusable, Power went out through the night so no AC, Have to pass the pool deck chairs over the wall down to the beach as there was only three old ones on the sand and being used, in need of major renovations.

Nice little hotel

This is a mid level hotel that is decent, clean and friendly. It is on the ocean and has a small pool. the free breakfast is nothing to write home about, but is filling. A solo person does not get get as much treatment as couples or families, however.

Not quite what we expected

We read reviews before we came and were prepared for a 3 star hotel. We read that the hotel was pretty run down but the staff was amazing.. Not so much....the staff was very rude and unfriendly. Especially the man at the front desk. It is a wonderful location...that is it. We had no hot water for the whole time we were there. They would not give us any extra blankets or pillows...

Fabulous location

Air conditioner was Broken, no hot water, hard beds, no dresser for clothes, only one hard chair, shampoo promised but never materialized, breakfast included,but waiters weren't sure what that included, waiters didn't know English and every breakfast was a mystery in what you ordered and what you got, Scuba diving school right beside our room and started activities at 7:30 in the morning.. This should give you an idea of this hotel. To give them 31/2 stars is a joke, it would be pushing it to rate a 2. The only thing going for it is its location.

C'è stato un errore di trattamento rispetto al pacchetto acquistato. Il tutto solo per aver chiesto un King Size bed, ci hanno assegnato una camera normale ma anche il pacchetto colazione, l'utilizzo degli asciugamani in spiaggia hanno inaspettatamente subito un down grading. Risolto questo problema comunicativo tra reception e addetti albergo, lamento un'unica cosa davvero: il disservizio in sala colazione e la poca educazione da parte del cameriere che neppure ci ha salutati. Ottima la posizione dell'albergo.

Noisy!!! Complacent staff, terrible food - do not get the breakfast included...ask for a fridge instead. The beds are made of stone, but the rooms are clean. The pool side and patio is nice....could be cleaner, and nice sandy beach front is interesting with all the local boats. The smell of sewer(not sure where it comes from), is overwhelming. Promised and paid for a king bed...but none were available upon arrival and no compensation given. Poor value and will not be returning.

Incredible Value

This was our second time staying at Hacienda Morelos, and it was once again a spectacular time. Without question, the best part of this hotel is the view. The ocean view is amazing, and I've never seen anything even close to as beautiful for such a low price. The rooms are all white, so it would be easy to see if anything was unclean. This was not the case, as everything was spotless. The amenities are basic, which is fine because we weren't spending much time inside anyways. The staff is hit or miss. Most of the employees were incredibly pleasant and went above and beyond, but there was one in particular who made it very obvious that he didn't care to offer any extra help. He wasn't rude or anything, but he seemed to do only what was required. The internet is great in the lobby, but is very spotty elsewhere. Again, this isn't a big deal, because we spent almost the entire stay on the beach or exploring the incredibly charming town of Puerto Morelos. I love this hotel, and I will be returning soon!
