"Nice pool, I cleaned it daily due to the trees overhanging drop lots of debris in it but still nice to have. AC and Wi-Fi worked well. We were asked to vacate our room (4 hours) during our stay due to fumigation happening at in the rooms. Kitchen was decent for cooking a few meals. I came to surf and probably won’t be returning to the la punta area but a nice stay for the price. There was no hot water in our shower. "

"Loved being so close to la punta without being right in the noise of it. All the coolest hippie spots within a short walk and about 15 minutes to La Punta playa. First of all the microbús from Oaxaca Zicatela stop is so close so that was nice at night to just walk up no taxi or camión required. Check in was so easy they asked when I would arrive and were waiting for me since there’s no reception desk. But whenever I messaged through the app they responded right away. AC felt great. "The room we booked wasn't available when we arrived,though we were offered other similar accommodations. We had asked repeatedly for towels but never got them.False advertisement on the website.The bed was comfy and great view from terrace/kitchen.It's also centrally located which was a plus.So for the price wasn't bad."

"Mi experiencia en Alebrijes Surf House, fue excelente en un nivel personal y por haber tenido la oportunidad de compartir momentos muy agradables con otros viajeros así como con los dueños del Hostal quienes incluso nos brindaron una tarde en conjunto en un rincón muy especial de Puerto Escondido. Las habitaciones son sencillas y con poco mobiliario pero con una cama súper cómoda. La atención del personal, la vista a la playa así como la alberca son lo que hacen especial este hostal. "
