"The house is situated in a beautiful spot with lovely views. The shared pool was nice as we had some good weather and the children enjoyed a splash. The equipment in the house is rather dated and the house was quite dark. Also we are a family of 5 and the house states it sleeps 5 people but it isn’t equipped for 5 people. "Overall we though the place was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures are generally very accurate however the one of the front of the house implies a bit more space than there actually is. Space for one 4x4 (or car). In the Vrbo ad we can't see any suggestion of when the communal pool is open (late June?) so not available in May. There is only a 2or3 seat sofa for a house that sleeps six (as shown in the pictures). The biggest issue for us was the lack of kitchen utensils...

"Hemos estado muy agusto, el apartamento esta muy bien, aunque para 5 personas un poquito pequeño, sobre todo el sofa. Pero en general esta muy bien cuidado. Por poner un pero es el olor a madera vieja y humeda que hay. Esta en un pueblo muy tranquilo y pintoresco pero quizas un poco alejado si piensas hacer excursiones por cantabria. "We enjoyed our holiday. The cottage would benefit from an audit of crockery, cooking utensils etc. eg, more breakfast bowls needed and no teapot lid. A welcome pack in the house giving info how things work, eg recycling, hot water, where to get firewood, and general info of places to visit would be good and perhaps a visitors comments book. Appreciated Mari, the housekeeper, help and cleaning very much. It’s a beautiful building with nice linens and very well located in the area."
