Great location and very helpful and nice staff. And unfortunately that is pretty much where it ends. =( We stayed in room 14 which had two double beds and a private bathroom. The room smelt like it needed to be aired out. The towels we got looked physically dirty with dark marks throughout, we used the two cleanest looking ones out of the 4. There were these flying bugs everywhere and when you would turn off the lights and be on your phone at night, they would fly onto your screen and your face. The bathroom was moldy, I actually ended up wearing thongs even though it was a private bathroom because it didn’t look or feel clean. The water didn’t work for a couple hours one morning so there was no way to shower, flush the toilet after a morning bowel motion, or even wash your face or brush your teeth until about 2 hours later so we ended up missing the Cinco de Mayo parade. There is a breakfast available from 8-10am but get there quick as my hubby came down at about 9:00 and if I hadn’t saved him any bread, there would be none left. Also, the oven didn’t work - the friendly staff member had to find a lighter for me as a spark. I was pretty disappointed considering this place was mentioned in Lonely Planet.
Ok hotel, but certainly not the best one we've experienced in Mexico with a similar price. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom. Room was quite old and when you look up it feels like you're in a barn. Bed wasn't very comfortable and bathroom was tiny. Unfortunately it was very noisy at night as well.
The hotel has a nice little courtyard and rooftop area and is located very close to the historical centre, which is great! Many restaurants and bars around!
Breakfast is included, but very very basic!
Nice place, friendly staff, really good location but the rooms have no ventilation and, having a TINY bathroom/shower inside the room with an extractor directly into the room itself, didnt help at all. The room was humid the whole time, not a great feeling. Somewhat noisy because of The EXTREMELY thin walls (could hear peoples business while the neighbors were using the toilet). High price for what it offers. Wouldnt stay again but had an ok stay ;)

Great location and staff.
Great staff. No aircon or fan in rooms. Our room got really hot & humid and we couldn't sleep well so we asked to change rooms. Which they granted and we got a cooler room. Breakfast is simple continental - cereal, fruit, toast & tea and coffee. Great location!
El hotel es agradable, la ubicación muy buena, lo único que no me agradó es que nunca hubo agua caliente en la regadera y cuando les comenté lo único que se limitaron a decirme fue "gracias por avisar " tuve que bañar a mi hijo de 5 años con agua fría y cuando les dije esto ni siquiera una disculpa se preocuparon más porque hubiera dejado lavados los trastes que usé en ni desayuno
Incluso mi propio hijo les hizo un comentario y lo ignoraron

El personal del hotel es excelente, nos dieron información valiosa de sitios a conocer y nos prestaron cobijas extras para mitigar el fío. Las instalaciones sobre todo de la cocina un poco deterioradas. Lo peor son los colchones y almohadas que no son nada cómodos, tuvimos dolor de espalda y cuello al levantarnos, es necesarios cambiarlos por unos de buena calidad.
Solo en la reservación, se hizo todo y el pago y el correo y cuando llegamos no estábamos en las reservaciones, nos buscaron se hizo la aclaración y se asigno una habitación
