"There is not really staff, you just will receive information via message (it came on my WhatsApp) how to get in. Lots of restaurants around. We did lots of hiking from the house and visited 5 monasteries. The apartment appears very new and clean. "

"My family and I had a lovely stay in Kalabaka. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of Meteora. The bed was comfortable. We arrived in the hotel slightly earlier than the check-in time and was able to check-in right away, the receptionist kindly stored our luggages for us after checking out too. Totally recommend staying here! 10 out of 10!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Mones. The place was spotless and looked brand new. We arrived at night time and had no issues checking in. "The location was great-we were able to start our hikes to the monasteries right from the hotel without dealing with parking nightmares. Check in was not done in person. You needed to follow instructions from the owner to put code in to get a key. Was a bit complicated especially since we arrived when it was getting dark. I prefer having an in person introduction to the room. The room was clean and the beds comfy but it was very dark. One of the lamps did not have a bulb in it. They took care of...

"Guesthouse Lithos is a welcoming, helpful & friendly place to stay. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our room had a large balcony looking out towards the stunning Meteora. The room itself was very comfortable, a nice roomy double, with everything we needed. The guesthouse was located close to the village square, a geological museum and plenty of other dining options. A taxi was also close by. While we were there it was very hot, but in cooler temperatures it would be very easy to access hiking...

"The place isn't air-conditioned and no one speaks English (despite advertising otherwise, on both items). Complaints are ignored (e.g. problems with bathrooms WiFi). There are so many nice hotels in the village, go somewhere else. We actually had to leave after one night as it was unbearable."

"Very large room and bed with sofa, dining table and small kitchen with a fabulous view of the Meteora. Although located in a new part of town it was in fact only 10 minutes walk from the centre which has an abundance of cafes , bars and restaurants. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The location is new and, as at June 2024, not properly served by my car satnav or my iPhone map. However google maps worked and the manager sent a link to the Google map app to guide us in. Very pleased...
