"Cute and modern 3 bedroom, well-equipped kitchen, spacious bath with large shower which is not common! We did arrive around 2030 and their were no bath towels, but the caretaker came immediately. The cost of linens and towels and cleaning fee should be built in to the final price but in the fine print it says you must pay in cash this extra amount. "Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub mit den besten Gastgebern, die man sich vorstellen kann. Schon der Empfang war herzlich und wir haben uns sofort rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist traumhaft, wenn man Ruhe sucht. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und es ist tip top gepflegt. Kein Wunder, dass es dort einige Stammgäste gibt, die immer wieder kommen. Wir kommen auch gerne wieder."

"The cottage was ok, very small and rather outdated, but it did the job for a quick overnight stay during our Bavaria and Austria trip, would not recommend for longer stay. HOWEVER, not only are there additional guest and verbo service fees on top of the nightly charge, which is typical, but there's 70 eur cleaning fee in cash AND 10 eur per person towel and bed linen fee in cash! Each person has to bring their own bed linen and towels. And you'll receive an email with mattress and bedding...

"My wife and I stayed three nights at this flat, and we loved it! The pictures are accurate and the house is in immaculate condition. The floor plan works for a couple, a small family, or two couples. There are 2.5 bathrooms and a large open plan living room/dining room + kitchen. A utility room contains a washing machine. If the weather is nice, then the deck outside would be a great place to eat or enjoy a sundowner. We used the flat as a base from which to hike in the mountains. The owners are...

"A nice cottage house with great access to Altaussee lake, where you can hike for hours. Quiet town which was great for us. Easy drive to Halstatt and Salzburg. Our family had a good time."

"Das Ferienhaus ist sehr zu empfehlen ! Es hat alles was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und man hat mit 10 Personen ausreichend Platz. Auch die Lage ist top. Von dort aus kann man sämtliche Ausflüge starten. Zu Fuß ist das Dorf in ca. 5 Minuten zu erreichen und man kann bei der sehr netten Vermieterin eine Kanne frische Milch Zapfen. Einziger minus Punkt ist die direkt angrenzende Straße."

"We visited Halstatt over the Christmas holiday and fell in love with this gem of a town. While it is a bit overrun with tourists at this time of year, Halstatt Hideaway is set above the hustle and bustle and always offered a quiet escape. We stayed in the green suite and had beautiful views of the lake and town from our windows. Breakfast provided by the staff was a treat each morning. If you're planning on visiting during Christmas, beware that a lot of shops and restaurants are closed, so...
