"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"A group of 8 adults rented the house for 3 weeks in mid September to early October. We enjoyed the easy and comfortable outdoor living with the outdoor kitchens, large dining table, and lounging chairs. Nice pool. The roof top is a wonderful space too. Quick walk to a beautiful beach, cafes and restaurants. Host was very responsive and helpful. Trash has 5 sorts which need attention, but is good for the environment. We would definitely rent again"

"Beyond expectations, location, location, location of course with that front row seat view of Etna across the bay but the property itself was much larger than expected from the photos. Lots of outdoor and indoor space well designed clean bright and airy. The host was very easy to work with and the whole process was seamless. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here, Andrea the host was amazing and was always available offer advise regarding the local area. The villa itself well equipped and the Swimming Pool was perfect. It’s bigger than it looks. It was about a 15 min drive to Syracuse and Ortigia that offers many restaurants and places to see. I would fully recommend this villa / host. "

"Vielen Dank an unsere sehr nette Vermieterin Milena! Das großzügige Haus ist super gelegen (Bäcker und kl. Supermarkt in 5 gut Minuten fußläufig), hervorragend ausgestattet (genügend Decken, Küchenutensilien, gutes WLAN, abgeschlossener Parkplatz, überdachte Terrasse, ...) und war für uns als Kletterer ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die gesamte Ost-Küste. Insgesamt machen Haus und Garten einen gepflegten und liebevoll gestalteten Eindruck. Zum Empfang standen Keks und Wasser für uns bereit....

"The house is spacious and comfortable, situated in a quiet but convenient area. Avola is 5 minutes away, the motorway linking Messina, Catania, Siracusa and Gela is also a few minutes drive from the house.A car is essential. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. "Host, Salvos, was a real asset. We had a dreadful start to our holiday with a five hour flight delay and as a result our car hire vehicles were rented out to others. Salvos helped us - a party of eight - get to the villa. Nothing was too much trouble. He loaned us his car so we could do a supermarket shop. He was the perfect host.
