"Good points:- Location, 5 minutes walk to the beach. Inexpensive in February. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Free on street parking. Pet friendly. Short drive to Garrucha and Mojacar. Points to improve on:- Sofa bed (used as a sofa) was like sitting on a thinly cover pallet, very uncomfortable. If you have a dog that likes to bother cats, this is the place for them. There are cats everywhere. The on site restaurant and shop not open until May. No toiletries in the room. Soundproofing...

"The furnishings are a bit dated but overall the apartments are big and comfortable with a good balcony. The swimming pool is the best we have ever experienced catering for children and adults. It is huge and is thoroughly cleaned every day before opening including all the sunbeds being hosed down . Roquetas does suffer from high winds when the sea is not good for swimming so to have this wonderful pool is a bonus."

"We turned up expecting a comfortable apartment based on 3 star rating and wow!, absolutely shocking from the start. Went to the so called lobby? It was a room with a bar type desk. The man in a sweaty t shirt gave me the key and off I toddled to the room. First impressions set the tone and walked up to the first floor dodging the broken tiled stairs and into the apartment. Pictures will tell the story but the mixer tap in the bathroom only ran hot, no plugs and the toilet brush was horrible....

"Very nice spacious apartment overlooking the pool with all amenities. Five floors of apartments with lifts. Everything very clean. Staff were very helpful but I wish I could speak Spanish but they tried their best with our English. Free parking next to apartments although secure parking is available in basement. "The receptionist kept me waiting answering phones and chatting with colleague, also had difficulty finding my booking. But, the room was very clean and it was a quiet location close to the beach. Car park full both nights, but street parking close by is free. Did not explore the hotel and if you want to swim indoors, take a swim cap. "
