New for Fall 2024 : The swimming pool is no longer shared - it is now private for the cottage. If you see reviews about a shared pool, that is no longer the case! The pool is all yours!

This home is set on one of the highest points in Providenciales called Sunrise Ridge. Turtle Tail, our neighborhood is not the usual overdeveloped resort area full of condos. Our neighborhood has well spaced multimillion dollar homes. No noisy neighbors here, just space, piece and quiet and have I mentioned the views?

Since Turks and Caicos is all about the weather and being outside let's start there. Right alongside the house is our new swimming pool. Sit on the deck with your morning coffee and watch the ocean change color. When it heats up, cool off hanging out in the pool or retreat to the covered porch that runs the length of the house. When it's time for dinner, you can choose the well appointed full interior kitchen with new appliances or throw something to grill on our BBQ. In the event it is getting cool, light up the firepit and sip on a cocktail while waiting for dinner. Then you can dine on our large outdoor table with nice lighting accents and a fan in case it didn't cool off!

No condos or resorts with guests everywhere here - this is all for your use, There is an adjacent studio that shares the entry way and parking area but they have their own outside area and swimming pool!

OK lets go inside. The home has everything you need to enjoy the Turks and Caicos islands including a fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, cooker, oven, microwave and washer and dryer. We travel a lot ourselves so we know what people need to be comfortable so we've provided a coffeemaker, blender, toaster, kettle, hairdryers etc. etc. We've tried to add everything you'll need including beach chairs, coolers and a sun umbrella for the beach along with buckets and spades for the young ones!

The main bedroom has a king sized bed, built in closets and air-conditioning. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be pushed together to form another king. There's a/c in here too.

The house has a 52 inch Sony HDTV equipped with a roku box with Netflix and connections for you to hook up your own media. There is a BluRay DVD player, lots of DVDs, books and games. Of course there is wifi for staying in touch

Please note : A/C use is generally not needed since we have such great breezes. If you do need to use a/c it is metered and charged at the same rate we pay the utility company.

The space was as billed. If you are staying for a week you’ll need to get a refill on the 5 gallon water dispenser, it’s $2 and there are multiple locations so no big deal. Really pretty private!

Perfect family retreat!
We loved our stay! For our family of 3, this was the perfect getaway spot. From the location, to the views, the convenience of the pool, the affordability, to the quietness, it was the vacation spot we were looking for. The cottage size was roomy for our family, and having the ability to wake up, grab breakfast, and go right out to the pool and have that access throughout the day was amazing. Our little one loved swimming and it was incredibly convenient having the pool steps from the cottage. We love doing our own thing and having family time rather than being in the hustle and bustle of crowds, so this was exactly what we were looking for. We had a wonderful week and would definitely stay again!

Stunning Views
The views from this property are absolutely stunning. The cottage is exactly as described. It had everything we needed for beach days and for grilling and cooking. Great pool and outdoor kitchen/fire pit area. The Venetian Settlement area is very nice, and everything is just a short drive away. We rented a car (a must if you want to truly see the island and all the beaches it has to offer). This place is perfect for a family of four or two couples.

Great villa and can't beat the view!
Really enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Ridge Cottage. The view is phenomenal and the pool is a nice feature. The cottage was recently redone and was clean and comfortable. Great communication throughout the process. Beaches were a little further than we expected but not a deal breaker for us.

The views did not disappoint!
We just returned from Sunrise Ridge and I wake up dreaming I'm still there, drinking coffee and taking in the sea breeze and fabulous views from the pool deck. Amazing time at an amazing cottage
This cottage was super cute. The pics don’t do it justice. The beds were super comfy. My family especially enjoyed the pool- my kids went right to the pool after spending the day at the beach. Terri, Allison, and Ray we’re all very easy to contact if needed. Amazing view of the ocean. They have a few beach chairs, umbrellas, and pool floaties there to use. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful property!
The cottage gets good reviews for good reasons - it's close to a lot of action but tucked away to ensure privacy, is clean/nicely updated, has a beautiful saltwater pool, BBQ/firepit and amazing views. It also sits on a property with a studio and a bigger house, which could be great if you want to travel with a large group of people. Highly recommend!

Such a wonderful place and location!
I honestly do not know where to start. The location and views are nothing short of awesome. Stepping in or out of the house, you're just about always greeted with a view. The house is perfect for a couple, with a guest or two, cozy without being cramped. The large property ensure privacy, yet it is just a 5 minute drive to the main highway and the grocery store. The property manager was super-communicative, we can't wait to come back!

Great communication with the hosts before, during, and after our stay. Finding the house was easy with their directions and check in was a breeze! The house and grounds are beautiful, we loved sitting by the pool in the mornings, just enjoying the peaceful views. We did have an issue which the hosts worked to resolve right away and communicated with us promptly throughout and it was resolved within the day (the AC stopped working and they had a new minisplit put in.). The house is clean, spacious, and comfortable. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. The bedrooms each have their own AC and we slept very well. I have absolutely no complaints and would love to stay again!!

Great Space
We loved being off the beaten path, the cottage was less than 15 minutes to the tourist zone and abt 15 minutes or less to everything else (from airport to more local restaurants/beaches). The view is amazing and the space was more than adequate. The pics could use updating -(mainly to show the new dine in kitchen space). We loved our time there and the secluded feel. The option of a quick dip to cool off under the stars was amazing. Never crossed paths with the neighbors in the studio, so no problem there! Thanks for the memories, we hope to visit again!

Gorgeous location and wonderful stay!
This cottage was exactly what we were hoping for - close enough to go to different activities and restaurants but far enough away to be a quiet oasis. The view was spectacular, having the pool was so nice, and the covered porch really did allow us to be outside no matter the time of day. We never had to turn on the AC, even at night. The metal roof does get LOUD if there's a heavy rain, but luckily those don't usually last that long. The photo of the kitchen area should be updated as it's been rearranged during an apparent remodeling, but the layout is actually more open now. It was a great place to stay!!
